To get the OEM to work, I had to select a city...It is setup for "Wichita, ks" but the data is old. So as FCM suggested either click update or go into settings and select your city, then update. I can't remember, but I think you need to have the USB cable disconnected for the update.

I think the problem is "old" data when I oem'd it. The program knows it's setup and looks for data. The data in the OEM is old, so it looks on the storage card for new data. That's when it runs home to mama and gives you that error... I'm not the author, but that's my educated guess.

edit: and that's what I mentioned in the first post about "some trickery"
