By disabling do you mean uncheck it from the Today screen options? I already tried that but it did not help. I also noticed it happen when I used a BT GPS receiver.

It looks like it has something to do with the Ring picker on the title bar. It seems to ignore settings from the sounds and notifications settings too.

I did load a KMS Mobile Profiler. It works until I do a soft reset. The Ring picker does ignore that profiler program too.

yeah....this is not a brick.....go back into bootloader & try loading the shipped rom exe 1st...

So I have a brand new sprint touch phone so I just run your OMJ exe by itself? Sorry Im a little new with this. I thought I had to run a unlocker before your fine OMJ exe?

from a brand new phone....flash the stock leaked sprint rom (not mine), then follow the instructions for unlocker 2.31, then flash mine.

when u say shipped, are u talking about the original 6.0 rom or the new 6.1 leaked rom?

bottom line, yes, you do need to be unlocked to flash a custom rom, but some people have reported the same problem as you, and the resolution was to flash the leaked shipped 6.1 exe, then unlock, then flash mine.

Hi OMJ - I'm using OMJ.WM6.1.GPS.Sprint.NEW.Custom.exe. I've been using your roms for a while and never had this problem. I flashed the custom rom from the stock rom 2 days ago. I can try re-flashing if you think I should.

Also both roms I was able to get fast gps locks and used telenav with min. problems. Sometimes the gps lock was slow but I've always been able to get a lock.

Since flashing the custom rom I lost internet sharing. I had to go into DATA ##3282# and change my password. I don't know why it changed. Now internet sharing is working fine.

I see your posted speed test. How did you get such high speeds on your downloads. The fasted I get is 1325 kb/s?

One more question. I like the start menu on your roms. Was this added software or a reg tweek?

Great ROM! GPS works like a champ!
A couple things...

1) RevA doesn't seem as fast as with Jake's GPStest2.1, still testing

2) I'm having the issue with HTC Today Plugin (no Music icon, only 5 icons)
3) Have you customized this latest Sprint ROM to make sure Sprint doesn't know about tethering?

I don't know if you have the same problem I did. When I tried Internet Sharing I was getting a code 67 (username and/or password)
I got the pw from sprint tech support.

Since the last posting I did I tried to connect to check my speed. I got the same error. I opened IE to see if that would connect and it did. I left IE open and then re-tried internet sharing and I received a connection with no problem. Maybe this is something with the custom rom? I didn't have this problem with the sprint stock gps rom.

I think my PW got messed up while doing setting changes with Sprint Techs. At one point I couldn't even get my phone to access the internet.

So for some reason I have to prime my phone with IE before I can connect my laptop with internet sharing. I am using the phones connection w/laptop right now.

no...no need to reflash, I only have 5 too....I installed the cab version just now & I got 6 tabs again.....I need to check me OEM to make sure it's correct. I'll have it flashed in v2.

not sure about the better speeds, as I was getting half that when I 1st cooked these roms......it could be 2 things....1) I had a radio issue so I had to go back to stock 6.0, then flashed the leaked exe 1st or 2) I'm testing my newest version (just has some updates).

the start menu is QuickMenu.....I use it in all my custom roms.

I always open PIE 1st, just a habit I guess......I use ICS casually I have never had an problem.....the sprint tech is correct, you are suppose to have an extra $40/mo data plan to use your phone for ICS, so never tell them you are using it.....and I always set ICS to Sprint not "phone as modem".

Yes touchpal v2 works fine thats all i use for now.

I used the tcpmp on XDA but it doesn't play MPEG4 so it doesn't help everyone. (I'm attaching it)

I tried using the GPS just now after flashing yesturday without a soft reboot in between and I was able to lockin cold in about 3-5min. So this ROM is the best yet.

when u connect you phone to your pc via usb cable & use Internet Connection Sharing.
