So did you have have to use a diff unlocker or did u just follow the steps in the thread and at the end flashed OMJS GPS rom instead of JDS hybrid?

I had no problems with his previous gps rom that folks were having with JD's, and none so far with this either. This rom is 6.1, and that fancy today screen gps plugin. But this GPS is SOLID!

When you're in any system setting, it brings you to the phone instead of the system panel.

I also seen some screen corruption after messing around with it for a while.

You might want to re-flash Mine works fine...

You don't have to flash back to the stock Alltel ROM first...
If you have either JD's Hybrid ROM or his GPStest ROM installed you can flash directly to this one...

Do you already have the 3.35 Titan radio ROM installed?

Okay, short time lurker and noob here! Wooohoo!

I got my VZW XV6900 last week and am really liking it. However, finding this forum has corrupted me and I want to flash...the rom that is.

I have read a few times at least, almost 60 pages of posts over the last few days and want to make sure I do this right. Of course after all that reading and latest rom from OMJ my brain is a bit of a jumble. So here is my process question. My phone is still all stock with no updates other than adding my contacts via Active Sync.

Want to use OMJ's latest and greatest rom with GPS for Verizon.

I have read that some prefer/get better GPS performance with the 3.35xxx radio. If that is true waht are the steps to get there from new?

I have downloaded the following:

Vogue_unlocker_MFG_2.31.exe
RUU_Vogue_4350_ALLTEL_WWE_3.04.671.2_Radio_4350H_3 .37.10_Alltel_NV2.00_PRL30008_0331_Ship_withSpecia lNBH.exe
HTC.Device.Software.Unlock.zip (the one with the 3 files to execute in order)
OMJ.WM6.1.GPS.Verizon.exe

Now do I follow the instruction from the 1st post from here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=24925

Then? Sort of looking for an updated version for the newer rom.

Sorry for being a noob (hopefully this won't last for long).

TekZones: I was there with you last night. To be safe I did everything in order. Alltel -> New Rom -> 3.5 Radio -> Hybrid Rom -> A few other romms -> now here. I'm sure you can cut corners but I've learned thats how you get into trouble with these. I know mine is still working and had no problems going through the process. However I do not have a working (or Ever) GPS on the Verizon phone, waiting to hear from more Verizon Users on that one...

Whenever I close a program (even after viewing a text message) I am brought to the phone screen. Is this happening to anyone else?
