hi guys, I have a bell htc touch, now I was told the gps was removed, is it true or i can get the gps working with this install?

Thanks for the tip for the pop-ups. But I really think this is not Rev A. Speeds are really lower than other Rev A roms. With is rom I am lucky to break 700 k downloads while with other roms I was at 1500 to 1600 k downloads. I hate to go back to other roms because this one is so stable and GPS is working flawlessly. But anyone else with speed issues or is this isolated to me. What are your speeds on this rom. Anyone check yet?

It works fine for me. Before I was averaging 35-54k and now I'm at 80-141k in my area. Of course my test is downloading a 64MB custom ROM file, not some site that is dependant on...well... What do you really need 150k speed on a phone that you mostly use to check e-mail with? I use mine to tether and it is still more than fast enough. I vote for stability over speed.

And has anyone seen our chef around here?

I never tested the Rev A speeds with this ROM since I was just happy the GPS was working so well. I'm not too pleased with my speeds. I've soft reset and tried 5 separate tests. I'm getting Rev A upspeeds.... bad download speeds.

I understand stability over speed and I will take it too but why not have both. Plus I actually use opera or skyfire to browse the net with it and can feel a big difference in speed. Just in skyfire alone, the average time for a site like cnn.com to load I would wait about 3-5 seconds but this rom I wait 10-15 seconds. Now I know I am being impatient, but why not have both speed and everything else

Okay, I'm going to ask for the 5th time. How do I disable or delete the java manager that's present and find the compatible java manager that works with the Sprint Music Store for this rom?

I'm still around, but havent had much time for the forum.......been reworking the roms, going back to more stock based.....but having issues which = frustration! I'll be glad when the official sprint rom is released.

I did all that, it still does not work. If the phone is in REV mode should i still see th Ev icon at the center of the screne.
