Amazing rom as usual! most stable of all. just gps not working, can't get a lock even after doing everything. (I'm with bell) I only see numbers in the GPS viewer, such as 24 with a red square and other numbers pop up and also a red dot with a number on the worldmap but no fix. and using the programs, live search or google maps. it gives me a location when i center GPS that is around 5 minutes from here. never where I live. I went out today and tried it far from here but also no lock.

I'll wait til next version.

I didn't have this problem on the leaked ROM, or with Dharvey's latest...

Should I have VIRSER_GPS.DLL in the /Windows directory? I noticed it wasn't there in this latest ROM.

I have already done the PPST.EXE (PRI) update, and GPS works amazingly well on other ROMS.

So... VIRSER? yes/no?

It used to work fine with the previous ROM before GPS and such.
I also tried the tweak from the advanced config where it says open e-mail account. But still the same thing happens so now I have to set it in the options so that it has to display account picker.
Any idea OMJ ?

Also, how can I get back the original dialer that came with the phone? I like it more than vista dialer.

the concensus is no, the virser.dll is not needed. you can always copy it to \windows to see if it makes any difference.

I am still testing my Alltel full rom, and everytime I launch google, gps locks within seconds....



just tested...I click on txt button, then txt msgs box opens...close it, then click on email button, account picker opens.....not sure what to tell ya.

as far as an update, I really have no reason for an update.....unless I'm forgetting something due to my old man status, I didn't know anything specific needed correcting.
