Is Rev A actually "installed" on this ROM? It says so in the title, but in EPST it doesn't even show and my speeds don't indicate I'm connecting at Rev A speeds.

I was using another Rom before, EPST was showing Rev A disabled (which acutally means enabled, go figure)
and was getting 2-3 times the speeds in the same locations I'm testing now.

Anybody have any ideas? mtia

I'll ask again. Is there anyway to get the Voicemail notification to appear at the bottom of the home screen again? It disappeared with this update.

Edited: I noticed someone mentioned ActiveSync popping up, anyone have issues with the Phone Menu popping up randomly after closing menus or installing programs?

I tried the GPS Today pluggin again which I was having problems before with getting a GPS lock. I am able to get a GPS lock using updated GPS drivers. Also I can use TomTom again with out having to open another program and priming it first, the pluggin does it for me.

I'm finding the new rom is working pretty good. There are a few minor bugs to be worked out such as programs not opening from the shortcuts. I can fix these as soon as I'm sure the rom is stable. My data connection seems slow. I'm showing Ev in the data icon at the top. How do I know if the rev -a is working?

GPS took a while to get a first lock this morning but now is fine. I've been using it for over 4 hours today.

sorry man, but I know nothing about Verizon issues, sounds like it needs to be reprogrammed, or you can try to reflash.....

I got my first GPS signal this morning it took about a good 5min to lock on outside. Later on in the evening, on my way back home I tried to lockon to a signal and I realized what everyone means by the GPS dying. It just stop connecting... Thanks for the diligence on this OMJ You continue to make a strong ROM! I'd like to see a clean version and try out my UC skills, but everyone has a request don't mind me.

glad to hear the good feedback......this rom has a different OS & build 19209, my last rom was 19716.....word is that 19209 was officially released, so far seems to be workin good, so I'll stick with it.

remember I built this rom from the new ppcgeeks kitchen, my last rom/kitchen was tweaked out to correct these issues.......music & sprint tv will not work cuz they are not installed, you can either install them via cab or remap those icons to another program. find & modify these 2 files to map....

ql_skin_l.xml & ql_skin_p.xml

this is the file from my last kitchen, it will fix the live search but like i said, music & sprint tv arent installed.

Same here. I would like to disable it (remove it)

Overall everything is working great. The GPS is still a bit glitchy though. I was using Garmin XT and it was working flawlessly for about an hour when all of a sudden it said that it couldn't locate the GPS device. (I'm not talking about the satelite signal, it couldn't find the gps device). So I closed Garmin, tried google maps and it couldn't find anything and either could GPS TOday. I did a softrest and voila, it came back. But I was really annoyed when it just all of a sudden couldn't find the hardware.

Oh, OMJ, You added back the HTC Touchbord but what happened to the 20 key one with predictive text? All I get is the "Password Full keyboard". Anyone know the link to download that cab? Thanks so much.

disabled gps today, turn on phone. run gps viewer (com4, rate = 4800) cold start, turn on google maps , (gps settings = com4 , rate = 4800) , it says intiating gps. .searching for sats.

GPS viewer and google maps never find sats.
google inventually displays "No gps receiver"

Any tips?
