Thanks for the info.
Just one thing I wanted to confirm. Are the radios 3.35 or 3.37 custom made for Vogue or have they been taken from other devices and made to suit Vogue. I think 3.35 is Titan??? When sprint has made an official GPS rom they would certainly have a GPS radio also,which one should u suggest I go in for 3.35 or 3.37. Thanks

well just like loading the new Alltel rom, this rom should be fine for all carriers, the data connection bubble will say Sprint, but it's just a label.....I have removed the post-flash carrier customization.

I'm not really sure, I am still using the 3.35 radio. I'm not sure what the differences are between the Alltel 3.37 & the Sprint 3.37.

I stayed w/ 3.35, GPS is working great, but depending on whats ppl say about the new Sprint 3.37, I may flash to 3.37. You usually cant go wrong using the radio that was meant for the Vogue (3.37).

Hi, Thanks for this interesting info, infact I was not even aware of the sprint 3.37, was about to upgrade to the alltel 3.37..... ANy idea where i can download and how to upgrade to Sprint 3.37. Thanks

I flashed the radio version 3.37.15 from the leaked vogue rom and works well, as for the stock rom...I can't wait to get home and flash omj's. You also get a new PRL (60162) with the leaked rom, that or the radio helped my download speeds.

How do u flash the new radio 3.37.15 from the leaked vogue rom. Correct me if I am wrong as I try to detail the steps, currently I have 2.13 radio with 0.40 coke and 6.0 OMJ V8 rom.
1. I will upgrade to unlocker 2.31.
2. skip the rom upgrade to alltel 3.37 rom and directly flash with sprint leaked rom , wll this upgrade my radio from 2.13 to 3.37.15??
Also from upgrading to unlocker 2.31 from 0.40 coke, do i have to go back to sprint stock 6.0 rom or can directly upgrade the unlocker..

Thanks OMJ I had already downloaded this ROM the day it was released, let me just go back to the thread and see if I have to first flash the Alltel 3.37 to upgrade radio from 2.13 to 3.37 and then flash this rom or I can directly flash this rom on my current radio 2.13.

Hi Guys,

Sorry my mistake I didnt read the thread in my excitement. Now I know how to flash, just one little question for upgrading to unlocker 2.31 from unlocker 0.4, do i need to go back to stock sprint first and then upgrade the unlocker 2.31 or directly upgrade the unlocker 2.31 from my OMJ6.1 rom and radion0.4.

no, it's basically OEM....it's possibly it may have the radio.


no, just follow the steps for the 2.31 unlocker, then flash mine.....

btw....I'm almost done w/ the full custom rom.....and I think I was mistaken, I just checked my radio it's now @ 3.37.15, so these roms must have the radio too.

when i download the verizon version, it does not download correctly and it tells me that some files are corrupt when i try to run it. Any suggestions? it says "CRC failed in RUU_signed.nbh

Here is a full custom version.....for some reason TouchPal will not work, it is conflicting w/ something, so I had to remove it.....I installed via Cab & it appears to install but after rebooting, it's not there......hmmm

thats a WinRAR error, most likely due to a incomplete download, since the FTP is having issues.....

download one of my new roms....they're much better!

well, i've got it loaded and it seems pretty stable so far. i thought it had the new 3.37.15 but it's still saying 3.37.10. is there something else i needed to do first?

hey omj, installed the new rom. and seems so be working snappier than previous roms. but one question, i have the titan 3.35 radio and after installing ur rom, it still says i have the 3.35 radio, so i dont think these roms have radio's incorporated

and OMJ, thanks for all ur hard work man, really appreciate it. by far the best cooker. but this new rom doesnt have aeb stufff...are you planning on putting it on there?

yeah ye gotta run the leaked sprint rom found in the sticky at the top of HTC Vogue Upgrade page. This rom has the 3.37.15 radio your looking for. Thats what I did and it's all good now.

okay i figured it out...apparently the rom that u have based off the leaked rom, but it doesnt include the radio. I flashed the original leaked rom and it seems to have updated my radio to 3.37.15 and now im going to try your rom on top of it. wish me luck =)

Everything is running smoothly, but, for some reason everytime I soft reset, it I have to do the whole tap/align screen thing before getting back to my Today screen.

Is it just me?

Ok so I've installed the newest rom (leaked sprint customized by OMJ) but I have the 3.35 radio. I want to get the 3.37.15 radio on there and I know I need to just flash the leaked sprint rom from the stickied post (to get the 3.37.15 radio)....so when I am doing that do I need to stop the customizations from running so it doesn't do any sprint stuff since I have a bell touch?

I remember that when we were putting the alltell radio/rom on we didnt want to let the customizations to run...

Hello and thank you OMJ and the rest of the people that make this site a great site with your excellent work and info.

I loaded your Bell rom on top of the Alltel 1.37 Radio rom, I found it very stable but found the GPS on the flaky side, like some of the other people here.

I loaded the GPSkickstart+drivers and finally got it working, where it never worked at all without them. I loaded a few programs and now when I boot up I get a tskschedule fault, I have no idea why I am getting it and it is still there after removing the last few programs I loaded yesterday. but doesn't seem to make a difference with any programs except that GPS didn't work when I tried it today. Not sure of any speed improvements my speed test at mobile.speedtest.com was pretty good at 800kb/s with the stock rom and afterward I loaded the OMJBell rom I scored 200kb/s to 400kb/s a few times and then 936 kb/s once. I tried to look at the epst report and it just had #777 listed with no rev info below that entry, not sure what that means? I guess that is bell specific.

I am waiting to load another rom and your lateest sprint rom looks like the GPS radio might work better with the 1.37.15 rom, just a guess on my part.

So I am wondering if I should flash this rom now or wait a little longer, if I flash should I see an improvement on the GPS side. Some of the programs I loaded didn't work with the Bell_revA+GPS rom, would the new Sprint rom offer any better success of loading apps.

If I do load this new Sprint rom are there any steps or software required to help the gps after the rom flash.

If anyone can help me with there experiences with this rom over the earilier version, it would be appreciated.

Thanks again OMJ for putting together a really good rom and all the others that make this site Great. I spend more time here now then XDADevelopers, this site has more to offer for Touch Vouge users from my experience.

after flashing to the 3.17.15 with the OEM Sprint leak then reflashing to OMJ's ROM, my Rev.A speed was cut from 900kb with the OMJ ROM and 3.17.10 to around 100k with the OMJ ROM and 3.17.15. Has anyone else seen this? Perhaps it's just a complete coincidence. .

As for the GPS performance, the only thing i can say is WOW!!! I'm getting 5 sats in my living room with turning the phone off and on. I haven't had to soft reset any yet.

I'm going to go for a ride and do some tests. I'll post again when I get back

i did my own kitchen based off the sprint leak and the 3.35 radio( not sure what the difference is with the leaked radio), is there any special files i need to add to make GPS better? i have to soft reset just to get a lock if i turn it of and try to turn it back on, and it takes a while.
do i need kick start or anything?
i love your ROMS OMJ but i do not need alot of the stuff in them( mostly the HTC crap,cube and such) was just wondering if there is anything special i can put in my rom to make the GPS better.

i'm back from my test ride. with 5 bars i'm now getting 700k when i did get 900k. i also noticed that the signal is weaker in areas where it was strong before. So. i'm thinking about trying to go back down to 3.37.10 then re-loading OMJ's ROM.

Can someone please tell me the best way to do that?

Also. The GPS is totally amazing. No matter how many times i shut my phone off and on, the GPS almost immediately picked up 5 or 6 sats and kept going. Very impressive.

does he just have the GPStoday on his rom? i made my own from the kitchen based off the leak and am trying to get my GPS straight, i have to soft reset each time i waant to get a lck, and it usually takes toooo long

i added GPS today but it was working perfectly even before that. To be honest, I'm sure what he did but I'm in my living room now and I'm still getting 4/5 sats and i haven't rebooted yet.

Rev.A is still pretty bad though.

I don't have to calibrate after a soft reset. Weird.

the font in opera browser 8 is weird on mine. was fine when i had just the new sprint rom.

EDIT: I did a hard reset and the fonts went back to normal.

Tcpmp and Touchpal still not working after re-install from cab files. I would suspect there is a bug in the test ROM from Sprint.

Strange, I don't even have a Utilites folder? I'll do a hard reset and see what the deal is. Has OMJ uploaded more than one version today. The one that I downloaded this morning from his post is a really stripped down version.

EDIT: I downloaded his OEM version. I was wondering where all of his usual goodies were. DOwnloading custom ROM now.

Custom Weather is not working for some reason.

Edit. After reloading with a separete CAB, Custom Weather is working again. I did notice that several items on the Cube wasn't working and that the CABs had to be installed seperately for them to work. Something about "not signed with a trusted certificate". I've already seen a few posts relating to it. The thing I'm still bothered by mostly is the drop in speed I got from the Rev.A with upgrading the radio from 3.37.10 to 3.37.15.
