i dont know if its the rom or not but since i flashed, both the OEM and the Custom rom i get the same result, i install my apps but when i reset the phone freezes in bootup and the screen becomes irresponsive, and remains stuck even if i reset again leading to a hard reset to fix the issue... any suggestions??

Please help! I f'd my phone and been up all night trying to fix.

I am getting stuck at the HTC Logo screen. I read on page 61 (I think) the power, camera and soft reset to get it to the mutli-color screen ready to accept...I have resent the flash and nothing....

any clue what happened and how fix?

ok! nevermind...looks like it is working now!!! Definitely could have done with out the lack of sleep! I am not sure exactly what the break in the process was...but it was definitely me!

Ok, now I am lacking sleep and still trying to get my phone back to 100% before a business trip tomorrow...

OMJ...THANKS...sorry to be so dense. After several retries, after my XP box crashing during the flash of the updated OMJ v.3 rom, and multiple re-downloads of the Cokeman 2.31 unlocker,all seems pretty well.
BUT...Does anyone else have a message on the bottom of the HTC boot screen that states..."TEST ONLY...NOT FOR SALE" ?...this is a new development. Is this a remnant from 1st flashing the leaked Sprint ROM?

well if you flashed "OmJ 6.1 oem", you didnt flash the leaked rom. your phone is not bricked, you just need to follow the instructions & flash the LEAKED SPRINT ROM 1st!!!

Oh by the way thanks OMJ for the rom. I wasnt happy with this device until i installed your rom.

cool.....you really shouldnt need the kick start cab, the base leaked sprint rom is much better for gps than the prior Alltel base rom. All I can suggest is to be outside, run gps viewer for 10+ mins....the 1st time always takes the longest.

damnnn, sorry to hear....who is your carrier? I know on Sprint you are suppose to have an extra $40 data plan, but I have never been charged for casual use.

Just checked the Rx power and it says -100 dbs. I don't know if that is good or bad. I called the sprint tech support line today and they pretty much told me to do everything I already had done. (They did confirm a June 20th release for the official update.) I still get virtually no signal and frequent dropped calls. This happens not only at home, but also at the hospital I work at, which has sprint/nextel repeaters in the building. Thanks for the help OMJ.

-100 is not very good....the Rx power is the only true way to judge you signal....I am not sure what would have caused a decrease, the only way to be 100% sure would be to have a 2nd touch in hand that was stock 6.0 to compare readings. I am currently about .25 mile from a sprint tower & I'm getting as low as -50 up to -70.....if you happen to know where a sprint tower is (you can google for a map) get within a half mile & check your Rx power.

I ran the GPS kickstart.cab w/ the drivers, and I am still having problems (verizon). Did I just revert back to alltell drivers? Is there any way to go back to spring w/out flashign the leaked rom again?
