HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \Software\HTC\PHONE\PhoneExtendSetting <<--YOU WILL HAVE TO ADD THIS KEY

ADD the dword EndCallTime and make the value 1000 (one second) or 0 (no delay)

I think by default it is 3 seconds....I set mine to 500 (1/2 second) on my phone and it works just fine.

Edit: And a link to a cab file for this regedit.

It looks like the registry edit that you proposed is for ending calls faster. However, the issue is that the phone sometimes will not end the calls at all. I usually have to press the hardware end button three times for it to end a call. It does end calls right away when the dialers end button is pressed on the screen. It is definitely a Sprint thing, since my OEM Verizon rom did not have this problem. Any solutions?

Isn't that your issue? The phone doesn't hang up because in windows there is a 3-second delay before it ends the call? I can hit the end button 4 or 5 times in three seconds. It's a windows mobile undocumented feature, not a sprint or verizon feature...I'm sure that if you try the fix, it will work.

When ending a call, one-onethousand, two-onethousand, three-onethousand can seem like an eternity...

Hi everyone. I am using the verizon full custom rom with radio 3.37.15 and I have added the gpskickstart cab and and i am still having issues with consitently getting a lock. This thread has become to long to to narrow it down to anyone that has had success with gps more then a few days. Can anyone here state they have gps working on a consistent basis. Verizon wireless users that is...

Oh by the way thanks OMJ for the rom. I wasnt happy with this device until i installed your rom.

dang I used the internet connection sharing program on this rom and then got dinged 95 bucks extra for data charges! I have the unlimited browser but I thought for some reason that program didn't cause data to be charged. Oh well live and learn! Don't use this unless you have a data plan!

Maybe I was just using it wrong tho..........

I'm having a problem with phone reception. I would always get 3-4 bars in and around my house even after upgrading the radio to 3.37 and using OMJ's ROM. Suddenly about one week ago, I have lost almost all reception. Callers can't hear me and calls are frequently dropped. I updated to the newest ROM with no luck. I searched to board, but all I found referred to verizon vogues. Any suggestions?

it's always possible a change was made to the cell tower....are you having this issue everywhere or just @ home? you could try flashing the leaked rom to compare....also, you can check your signal strength by typing ##DEBUG# from the dialpad, check the Rx Power.

Just checked the Rx power and it says -100 dbs. I don't know if that is good or bad. I called the sprint tech support line today and they pretty much told me to do everything I already had done. (They did confirm a June 20th release for the official update.) I still get virtually no signal and frequent dropped calls. This happens not only at home, but also at the hospital I work at, which has sprint/nextel repeaters in the building. Thanks for the help OMJ.

Re: Reception

I have to say that for some reason I get less dropped calls with OMJ's rom. I am comparing this to Verizon's OEM rom and other Sprint Vogue leaked roms. I am in a very bad cell phone coverage area, so every bit helps.

You should try to update your PRL file. I know that might not make much of a difference since it is mostly used for roaming. However, I would still try. If that does not work then the next step would be to try to reflash your phone with Sprint's original leaked rom and then load OMJ's rom again. Make sure that your phone settings are configued correctly (roaming set to automatic, etc.).

I've tried multiple roms with the same result... I'm going to try to update my PRL file now. Checked all settings and they seem to be OK. I really appreciate the help everyone has given!

Updated my PRL to 40410. Still very little signal. This all seemed to start after I went up north where there was no cell coverage at all. Any correlation?
