omj yes its a bell um from edmonton canada and although i lke the rom you cooked i do like bells music store.... so yeah it would be kool to have again. but i do love your version.

If you make a .lnk file that runs the java vm and put after the executable the number to launch (all apps have a number order according to when they were installed i believe). it'll launch just the app rather than having to go through the menu for all your java apps. Can't find the thread now, but there is one on here that shows how to do this. In short, my lnk file has #28"\Windows\jeodek.exe" -run s1_

So s0 was the sprint store app that doesn't appear in the menu (from what I can tell) but is still somewhere. Before your ROM I was using Jbed which is an alternative to jeodek. Not sure which is better.

I assigned a shortcut for Opera Mini and put it on the quick launch. Grabbed an icon from here: http://i25.tinypic.com/4tps9k.png
had to resize to 32x32 though to fit. Used the HHC program to link the shortcut and use this icon. Cool stuff.

90% of whats on your ROM I will probably end up using. So what's an extra meg or two of storage used (if that)? I just newegg'ed an 8gb microsd for 50 bux...

how can i get mms working on version 3? i know that here is a program i can download... but is there any other way... why was arcsoft remove?

OMJ, I don't think u provided the link for V3 in your post. But it's in the FTP directory. Is this safe to use right now?

Yes it is safe, wonderfull and improved! And for those of you wondering, a new download fixed my activesync problems.

v3 is for sprint & mms does not work for sprint. There should be a cab out to install.

1st off - May a million thanks be upon you OMJ, and the folks who assisted you in creating your ROM skills ! I'm a 2 week old HTC newb who's never played with phones other than to talk. Hell, I learned how to text last week. LOL

Ok so the ROM updating went well - thanks to the efforts of many who posted guides - thanks to you to sirs! I have the new radio 3.37x or whatever, not sure about REV A and all that yet - from the leaked sprint ROM I dl'd yesterday, and then OMJ's rom "full custom for verizon"

Im a Vzw user - and expectedly - cant make calls or get voicemail. I can get net access but its SLOOOOOW 380k . I understand I need to call verizon - but what to say? "I dunno what happened man - damn thing just wont make calls after sync'ing and adding some keyboard software?"

I was looking into the AKEY items and whatnot you included - but noit sure about those tools and what they can and cant do. Will these allow me to bypass the call to vzw tech support?
