OK...great ROM...BUT...my Touch reboots as soon as I disconnect the USB/Activesync cable! With it disconnected, it boots to the Today screen normally, then reboots...and round again. Any help appreciated...

i made a version of v3 without aebplus, freecell, hearts, sprint nav, touchpal v3, total commander

added frogger, pocketcm, s2u2, and tvguide.

wish I knew how to make oems want to added touchpal v2, bejeweled, boyzsoftkey, resco and some other stuff I can't find oems for.

The gps seems to work a bit better with v3 I was able to get a lock indoors but it locked up the first time.

hate to be a pain here but could someone post the the values in their HLM\Software\HTC registry?? From the Custom Verizon ROM here...

I think mine got messed up when i used touch settings program. everything but the 3d rotate works. It just fades in when sliding up/down and then snaps to the next cube side when sliding left/right.

I guess these settings may be the same for most of these roms - I assume just different colors/icons...but the custom verizon rom is what i used.

i have a backup of the entire registry - but restoring it restarts my phone and doesn't seem to have an effect. maybe there's a way to open that backup and view it to compare? if possible i'll do that too.

and thanks again. I finally have my touch in a REALLY good place after many hours of tweaking and setting...all of which was sped up by this wonderful ROM. ... and after that, I have to see why the GPS doesn't seem to get a lock..

I had the same thing. Call waiting as anoying. But it went away, and I dont know how.... Wierd.

you might try this - here's how I got GPS to start working ...

1. Goto Phone Dialer Pad
2. Press Menu
3. Goto Options
4. Goto Services
5. Select Location Settings
6. Press Get Settings
7. Select ON
8. Press OK

OMJ, I'm trying to use the GPS drivers from the "updated gps drivers" thread and those totally killed my GPS. I tried the 1-2-3 method and that didn't help. I used those drivers on the v1 and GPS was flawless. Is there anyway I could get those drivers on v3 to work at all?

OMJ...I have watched my Touch reboot many many times...then I have plugged in my sync cable to have a look around. What I think may be happening is, one of the apps you have in startup is rebooting it...I know the Task Manager app you have in your ROM has a /r switch...could something like this be the cause? I am clueless why others would not have this problem. Can you check ?
This is after following your instructions...2.31 unlocker, flash your ROM, allow Sprint customizations to run, hard reset...also ran PPST...all no joy. Why woould Activesync prevent the rebooting?...must be a clue there...Please Advise...Thanks.

Well now we're getting somewhere. The default location setting was for 911 only. As soon as I changed it to on (with the obligatory reboot) I detected three sats from within my office in about 5 minutes. Thats about three more sats than ever before. Havent got a fix yet, but making some progress.

thank you sooooo much . . . i don't know why i forgot that i had to do that, i've been doing that on my VZW phones since i got their Navigator service! duh!!!
