The exe that was posted is for your computer, not your phone. Look up a few posts to see the CAB file I posted. This runs directly from the phone.

So far I have not noticed a difference. I just set it at that because that's the default setting on my Kaiser.

I'm going to remove the desktop installer from my post since it's pretty useless without a desktop.

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled

I noticed that my phone now has the arcsoft picmail program installed. Was this from the Alltel rom or JD's?
If it's Alltel's does that mean they support MMS on their Touch phones?

edit:After editing the registry to look at the settings, it turns out it has no valid entires. Probably part of JD's Rom

I get that too under External GPS in system settings. I just don't look back.

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled

everything is working perfectly. I noticed in JD's latest rom there is no windows hotmail. I have the 034 and the 033 cab versions i can install but i can never get them to work right.also where is the garmin hack? it keeps looking for bluetooth. I was using it with my puck but i cant enable it for internal gps.

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled

I have a few questions about the new rom . Is mms enabled? Is it windows 6.1? did they fix the sd card problem? If it is 6.1 did they fix the vogue/threaded sms problem "keyboard hiding input." What touch flo version is included? thanks in advance

There should be.

Wikipedia suggests so.

This thread shows how to do enable it... choosing a different number might give you what you want. If it works, let us know.

Go here, get the two files. Run the cab and put the exe file in \Windows\StartUp\ folder. Reboot, run Google maps and your GPS should work.

Edit: I apologize, I forgot to tell you that you have to turn on the location setting for your phone. Here's how...
Go to Start\Settings\Phone\Services Tab\
Then choose Location Setting and push the 'Get Settings' button. Turn it on and if it doesn't offer the option to reboot your phone, do it yourself.
