Well the link really should unbrick people. I have already had confirmation that an older rom can be flashed from a 2.xx bootloader. Since this exe is signed and matches the CID for sprint it should work from the locked version for sprint users.

The SPL update is just there to let you know the status. The SPL itself is fine, but it doesn't seem to like the alltel update still so there is more to test there before releasing thats all.

Anyone think that because of the Cruise that they will make the GPS in ours usless ?

I considered that too, but because the Cruise is GSM and the Vogue isn't DIRECT competition, I don't think that would be the reason.

gps is coming. vzw announced that theirs would launch with it, and even though that didnt happen theres no way they would let htc get away without upgrading the device. its just a matter of when

If you have run the alltel rom this should get you back on track. Please report results. If you have lots of details for me a PM is fine.

SPL Update: 2.xx hard SPL seems to be fine, but still hasn't had success with the alltel rom so I'm holding off for a little. Also, it can't unbrick from the bootloader so it wouldn't be of much use to those that flashed already. It will however have overwrite protection so that the new exe files won't erase the hard SPL.

I tried running the rom from the link you posted, but I receieved the following error: ERROR[328]: Invalid Command, This update Utility cannot be used for your PDA Phone. Please check your Update Utility.

Is this update only for people that bricked their phone or an update to radio?

I already replaced my bricked phone, but I’m looking forward to update Rav A.

I already extraced the radio and OS, but it isn't safe yet.
