With JD's new rom it should just work. I forgot to hard reset from going from his old one to his new on i think.. which is probably a part of it since i had the gps enabler installed on the old one. Then i thought i had to install the gps enabler thing and that still didn't work. Trying now after hard reset.

alltel, each time i click on use gps in google maps, it also puts me off the cost of Ghana (in the water lol)... it goes from "Seeking GPS satellites (0)" to "GPS (0)... ill try JD's rom as soon as i figure out how to load it (newbie)

Loaded JD latest test rom and GPS is working (Google maps) although it took a long time to get a hit... Did have that dreaded replog error also.

That is probably the only thing that bothers me about these WM 6.1 roms. Those damn errors in bad coverage areas...

Whats a long time? I stood out there for a minute or two and it didn't pick anything up. Did do anything else like quickgps?

i got everything to work on my vzw xv6900 but it says im on the old weaver trail?!? in Falls Lake, NC... which i guess its somewhat close cause im in south part of Va in norfolk...

Use the RUU.zip i posted a few pages back... ahh choo http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...&postcount=607

Then extract, put the .nbh file (Only try JD's at this point) in the same folder as all the files, double click ROMUpdateUtility.exe and then it should look the same as the the alltel flash.

yes im on jds rom and installed "HTC_GPS_Enable_for_Titan_3.35.cab"
it gave me a "could not connect to gps on com4" in live..
didnt do anything so im uninstalling it

you should not have added the cab I added the gps drivers to the rom already they even start on their own
