It's working well without even needing a soft reset ever since I did the second complete install of ROM and then hard reset one more time.

Re: Ghettofreeryder v6 roms - Sprint, Telus, Bell

Ghettofreeryder: I found a pretty serious bug, if I press the voice command button during a call i loose audio on that call. Sometimes even after that call subsequent calls have no audio. Including speaker phone. Only during the call for speaker phone. I dont know how to make audio come out of the ear piece except in a call. Needs to be reset to be fixed.

EDIT: I found exiting the call and then pressing the voice command button seems to fix it for calls thereafter. However during the call if you press the button you're still screwed. This fix doesn't fix it.

Re: Ghettofreeryder v6 roms - Sprint, Telus, Bell

Issues:
1. When I soft reset, I get the following Voice Command error:
"Voice Command has encountered a problem. Restart Voice Command and try again."
2. What is \windows\startkey.exe and \windows\startup\startkey.lnk?
Thanks

Re: Ghettofreeryder v6 roms - Sprint, Telus, Bell

OK my phone (on 615) locked up twice today ... both times while surfing in PIE. I use Opera usually, but i had to use PIE to connect to a "secure" sharepoint site and that when the lockups occurred. I had audio manager, activesync and a bunch of other apps running the first time but just PIE and activesync the second time. One of the lockups may have happened while trying to receive an incoming call, because after I soft reset I had a voicemail message.

Re: Ghettofreeryder v6 roms - Sprint, Telus, Bell

I am in the USA with a Sprint Vogue. Very excited about 615 and will let you know how it runs in the San Francisco area. Updating from OMJ's 6.1 Sprint rom which has been working well except for missing calls and texts while the screen is off (pressing the power button to black-out screen after key lock). OMJ's froze about once every week or so, but the missed calls and txt is driving me crazy. Will keep you pposted once ghetto's rom is installed and tested.

EDIT: This is my second time flashing a rom, the first time I used Cokeman's unlocker, does anyone know if I need to unlock again before installing this rom? Please let me know, currently charging my battery, will flash shortly.

you shouldnt need to re-unlock unless you went back to the OEM ROM

Re: Ghettofreeryder v6 roms - Sprint, Telus, Bell

It locked up on me twice shortly after flashing it, but I was in the middle of changing and installing stuff, since then its been fine, but I honestly don't browse the internet much, just call and text.

Re: Ghettofreeryder v6 roms - Sprint, Telus, Bell

The only issues I've run into (that I haven't on other ROMs) have been with the HTC Home plugin.

When first installing the ROM, it didn't show the Favorite People tab, even though it showed it was enabled. No matter what I tried I couldn't get it to show up.

The other problem I had was with the Weather tab and adding custom cities. I have my own XML file I've used with other ROMs, but it wouldn't work on this one. I keep getting the "unable to retrieve forcast" error.

I installed another version of HTC Home and now the Favorite People tab works, but the weather still doesn't.

I never had a problem with HTC Home on OMJ's ROM, so I'm not sure what's causing the problem.

On 615 I've had no such issues with contacts showing up or being disabled (i disabled it, default i believe is that its shown). The cities i added using home customizer which is a great program. Make sure you're doing a hard reset after installing the rom.
