It's not too hard to get to.
It's just hard to find..

im using a alltel rom simple one its good with gps enabled i need advise i am looking for another rom which has preloaded applications just abit extra more like gps starter, youtube active x control, core player download manager, live messenger all important softwares customized in a singlge upgrade im using HTC touch vogu100

I am TNZ(telecom NZ) with an Okta Touch(6.1 update), updating it on a xp sp3 hp laptop.

I am running in to issues when going thru the Vogue_unlocker.exe
when it goes to the RUU tool, it goes thru the steps (tells me is has Image 3.00.781.3), will reboot the phone, bring up the 3bar soft bootloader, then in to the goes to the window that shows 0% but then comes up with an 'Error 262' (windows device manager has 'Microsoft USB Sync', in it, if you unplug the phone and plug it back in it will remove and add it again)


Have tired this 10-12 times now, in different ways, with out luck, multi reboots of computer, uninstall/reinstall of active sync 4.5

tryed running the RUU tool, in the manual bootloader mode (POWER+Camera+sytles in reset).

Anyone point in me in right direction.

I would recommend talking to/ pm'ing ali3nfr3ak, as I believe he is on that network as well and he has a Okta touch as well. I'm just guessing though but it wouldnt hurt to ask him!

got it working anyway,

Strange tho i didn't have to do an ESN swap with TNZ, after installed 6.5 and the tnz dcd, it phone worked no worrys

was a little slow the interface to start with but seams to be okay now

So can someone tell me how to relock my Sprint HTC Touch Vogue CDMA device? It has GPS and running radio version 3.42.30, if I understand the instructions on the first page it says that the earliest version of the unlocker was left overwritable so installing a factory ROM will relock the device. But it also seems to say that if you have a GPS phone radio 3.xxx, and try to downgrade to this version, it will brick the phone. So hence the question, how do I relock my phone for service purposes?

I have recently purchased HTC diamond from ebay and I want to use it on Reliance CDMA(India).
Can any one give instructions on what exactly I need to do by using this ?

I'm having issues as well. I got to the bootloader screen...ran the unlocker but that's where I'm stuck. It opened up a cmd prompt with this stuff:
Vogue/Sprint Touche CID unlocker utility
Total process may take about 5-10 minutes depends on CPU speed
Connect your device via activesync before continuing. Press any key to continue.

There should be a moment where it tells me to disconnect and reconnect. Is that when I'm supposed to do it? Its still at the USB mode in bootloader...so do I power down and let it run through or what? I don't know why I'm having so much trouble. sigh...any help would be appreciated. It seems to not be detecting my device via activesync. I tried this on both my laptop and dad's desktop and they both don't detect it. I hear the USB connect when I plug it in from the Serial -> USB part.

I disconnected at that screen and reconnected...pressed a key and then it says Initializing and a message pops up saying No Device Connected Would you like to try copying again? Yes/No/Cancel

I recommend before you do anything else, read and follow the directions in codybear's faq on xda here:

It has a detailed guide in it for unlocking and flashing . Read and absorb it and then you will be on your way.

Thanks a lot. I read that a LONG time ago. Totally forgot about it cuz someone over at XDA made a step by step thread yet it wasn't working for me. Thanks again. Hopefully it'll work for me this time.
