I haven't tested it thoroughly, but the basics are working fine.

It is version 5, not the clean version.

What's the difference b/w the Esmertec Java and the one in the stock Sprint ROM?

Finally, do you plan on updating this ROM or checking into some of the things we've commented about on this ROM?

Thanks again!
it was that way in v1 as well. other instillations of it have produced a different icon (black screen, green ekg lines) but the program works fine so no big deal

Sorry I haven't been up here in a while. I have a lot on my plate as of recently with school work and my organizations. Hopefully this weekend I can update this ROM to the newer OS/Radio version you guys mentioned and figure out what the problem is with the Task Manager icon in Settings. The programs included in the ROM will most likely be the same.

I really like this ROM also, only problems I am having is setting up my email account, dont know if its my own deal and Im just being an idiot and not seeing the problem or if it happens to all of you. I use hotmail and when I enter my email and password it gives me a link at the bottom of the page to access my account. Then it takes me to IE and goes to the hotmail account that way. But when I click Finish at the bottom of the setup window for the email address it just closes the setup page and doesnt set up the account to receive email to my phone.

Do I need to install Windows Live on my phone? What about Sprint Email Setup that I had when stock? It used to check my emails without using Windows Live, where can I get that program, if it is a different thing than what's in this ROM?

Also, when I chose to use the "X" button from the HTC Task Manager to close programs instead of the Default CLICK AND HOLD TO CLOSE, it closes any program even if the corner is showing "OK" to accept certain functions or changes in whatever program I am using.

For example, if I want to change the Home page on IE, to accept the change I have to click the top right corner where it says "OK" but by doing it that it just closes IE and the changes dont get saved. That happens with every program I tried. So I had to switch to CLICK AND HOLD TO CLOSE which I dont like since I always end up leaving a bunch of programs running till I remember to check the Task Manager and close all the programs.

Is that just me or is it happening to any of you? It might just need me to change it back and forth a couple of times because thats a change I did right away after the ROM update and it might just have been mixed up somehow. I will try to change it back though.

Thanks Mr. JCarter for the ROM and the REST for the Unlocker and contributers to the Cooking

PS: By the way, the Icon for the Task Manager that is partially BLACK is the Icon for the non-HTC Task Manager, the HTC Manager's Icon is fine.

Hate to thread jack, but the links are all messed up for your ROM. Did you include the user customization app in your ROM, if not is there any way that you could?

I really think that we should make it standard because it makes life easier for those addicted to flashing (such as myself..lol ).

I don't include the user customization app in any of my ROMS.

I have a thread for my ROM, if you have any questions, you can post there ( i.e. Derek ROM v6 )

One more thing to look at is the version of the HTC Task Manager you have in the ROM. I have found that I need to upgrade to a newer version (v2.0 build 30995.1) to get it to work correctly otherwise when I click the X button in some apps it closes the window and the app with one click (e.g. in pocket Outlook it would close both an open message and Outlook with one click).

Other than that, great ROM.
