First, thanks for the great rom. I think it runs much smoother and faster than the original sprint rom. I am, however, having one problem.

I can't seem to get voice command to work without using my bluetooth headset. If I press and hold the camera button, I get a "error opening the shortcut" message (I checked in the button settings, and it is set to voice command). With my bluetooth headset, I just press the button on the headset, and it brings up the prompt okay.

In addition, when I use my bluetooth headset with confirmation turned on, confirming never works. It is not hearing an answer. I got around this by turning confirmation off.

Any suggestions of fixing these two problems? Also, is anyone else having trouble with voice command?

the confirmation issue is a known one with msvc

I had the same thing going on, but I am able to use it without BlueTooth on now. I mapped my camara button to start MS VC on single click and I have my Phone Locking program mapped to the same camara key on long press. Have you tried different combinations?

On the Buttons Settings there are only two buttons available, but you can only use one of them and that is the Camara button, the second button is like a dummy button, it really doesnt exist on our Sprint Touchs. Try it. It works fine on my phone and I dont even have a bluetooth device paired to my phone ever.

hey mr j carter i love your rom its fast and doesnt freeze...but im trying to install the sprint music store and it doesnt let me i have 3 different files a .jad, .jar, and another .jar that i found on ppc geeks and i keep getting this error through java when trying to install:

sprint music store cannot be installed because permission javax.microedition.media.Manager is not available on this device. 58 please contact operator for more info....

i dont care much about sprint music but i also installed this rom on my girlfriends touch and she loves the music store so i gotta install it for her please help!!!!!!!!!! i did search but found nothing!

it doesnt work with this java. i dont remember where, but there are ones out that will work if you search

i searched everwhere and found 4 separate installers and i get the same error. the java works perfect with opera mini just wont install the music store and i would hate to flash my girlfriends touch back to the old slow buggy stock rom if u can direct me to a working installer i wont be able to thank u enough!!

First off i want to say after going through about four different 6.1 roms I believe that you have exactly what everyone should be installing. Just a perfect stock HTC base, and with the user customization it makes this rom top notch. I've had a couple of bugs with it that seem to happen with any rom I install, but I am hoping that someone here may know a fix for them as I have been unable to find fixes using the search feature.

1) My phone will lock up during calls causing me to have to soft reset it after the call to get functionality back. The call counter freezes at the time the phone freezes, but it is not always at the same time.

2) My caller id is usually blank on incoming calls. It shows the caller's picture if I have one set up, but the name and phone number are blank.

3) When using the HTC keypad I always have to tap the last word of a text message otherwise after I hit send the grey bar with the predicted words will stay on the screen after I'm done with the message and the text entry box has gone away.

If anyone has any fixes or work arounds for these issues I would greatly appreciate some feed back. Thank you in advanced!!

While I appreciate the quick response, and the link; that is not that issue that I am having. My phone actually locks up while I'm on a call, and then I am unable to end the call. The phone has no functionality at this point (i've tried the power button at the top, and waiting a few minutes for it to unfreeze).

I have "fixed" the caller id issue by just installing S2U2 and utilizing it's caller id function.
