OMJ, how much free memory do you typically have with only AS running in the background and your pagepool set to 24MB?

If they are built into the ROM you can't.

I made a similiar build and I had 60+MB still available. I've havn't had any issues at 24MB. I notice that there were several Kaiser ROMs on xda built at 24MB pagepool so I thought I would give it a try on our touch. The Kaiser has a different chipset, but I think they're comparable.

If your not comfortable building your own rom I would be happy to cook something to your specs. Just let me know.

I modified the WM6.1/Sprint OEM ROM to have a 24MB pagepool and I have about 62MB free after a soft reset. It drops to the 50's after a while but the phone seems a LOT faster with a 24MB vs 12MB pagepool.

I'm still trying to figure out how you guys go through life without an x-button. How are you choosing to quit apps as oppose to just minimizing them? I like the dial pad,... a little different. Having your favorite 9 on the today screen as well as on a cube face is nice too! I think I also like the blue accents over the Sprint yellow on the icons. Nice work! Think I'll perch here for a day or two.

Is x-buttons compatible? I still have a cab left over from my time with the Mogul.

Personally i use AE Button plus and map the OK button to a long press of the middle button on the DPad.

I couldn't live without the OK button either ....lol

easy....for the battery gauge, just go to \windows\startup & delete the VistaHide Battery Guage.lnk, reboot & it's gone.

for quickmenu, start/quickmenu/exit...then say yes to the pop up message.

I use QuickMenu (included in my ROM) if you go into options, you can set it to close programs on short press & ok. It works very well!

OMJ, you are gonna think i'm nuts, but is there any way you could cook a merged version of the Sprint Vogue ROM and 6.1 so it's identical to the out-of-the-box HTC but with 6.1? I know there is a lot of bloat in the sprint rom, but I have come to like most of that bloat and the sprint customizations. Is it possible to just take the old 6.0 rom and merge it with 6.1? Or would you have to find and load in all the original sprint and HTC programs manually?
