Original and MR both are at 32% mem used right after startup for me. Are you sure you aren't installing your own software?

The SIP keyboard locks up the phone about 9/10 times and takes up to 20secs to unfreeze. Opera never shuts off although i found a regedit that makes it show up using the FDC Taskmanager (you can kill opera then). Data seems to ignore the fact that im on wifi (could stay on wifi all weekend and data would never kick on by itself before) and always kicks on for email or OperaMini. Also Opera seems HUGELY difficult to use now, i almost use OM all the time and even removed the Opera tab from TF3D. Battery doesnt seem better, nor does the radio seem to help. In fact if anything, MORE people complain that im breaking up when on the Airave than before. I also dont like that i was forced to accept the NFL or Nascrap progs even though i use the NFL when im not around a radio on Sundays.

But YMMV given you may install different progs than I or anyone else who complained about it. Thing is, ill live with my complaints cause i dont want to give up my D-pad for a TP2...

In formatting my wifes TP (just got it today) it seems that the data issue isnt present on hers and it came with the MR. Confirms my suspicion that applying the MR over a configured ROM may cause issues.

So i recommend that if you apply this update, do a hard reset first.

Well after making this post it got me thinking. Like i said my wife got a (refurb) TP that already had the MR on it. It seemed to work better in the ways that i was complaining about. So... i did a clear storage, and REAPPLIED the MR and guess what? Im having almost NO issues like i stated, and even the freezing of the SIP had only happened once or twice today. I didnt know that her Diamond was doing the same thing, and i had updated it overtop the configured settings without wiping it first.

So, before you apply the MR, PLEASE do a hard reset/clear storage first and youll thank me later! You could probably apply that to a custom ROM as well.
