This happened to me once. I called tech support and they did a PRL/Profile update OTA that they sent to my phone. Worked after that.... Good luck!
Also, Dr. 8820, I see you went from Mr --> Dr. Congrats on your doctorate!

so,customer service could do nothing for me.
i got dressed and trudged down to the sprint store and she got the internet working. came home and plugged in,and still no activesnc.
