No internet/activesync after esn swap?>>
 

used my upgrade and got a blackberry curve for my daughter.
in order to do it,they had to do a esn swap.no big deal id think.
this was friday and now its wednesday and i still am not able to access the internet and am not able to activesync.
any help with this one?

it sounds like the phone wasn't provisioned correctly. try calling cs or taking it to a sprint store near you, this happened when i first got mine.

well,i just called customer service and got absolutely nowhere.

you might have to make a trip. it has something to do with changing a number from zero to 1 (at least that was my problem). what did cs say after it didn't work?

ActiveSync on a Blackberry? Really? Also, you got a Curve for an upgrade? What is that an upgrade from, cause it doesn't much sound like an upgrade?

Typically it does...I'd flash back to stock. Are you still taking about a Blackberry, correct?

no,i had a tp(my 3rd one) and was eligible for an upgrade.
my daughter had a rant,so i cashed in my upgrade,got her a curve and i kept my tp.

i hate calling CS also. I generally end up telling them how to fix my phone. I think most of them were probably the door greeter at walmart before sprint hired them. anyway call them and tellem to reset your profile. they should take you to ##data# (i think) and you will hit menu,restore.something to that affect.this fixed mine
