Well you can do a mock up on www.phoneclaim.com but as far as what the rep told me.

Yes, I would like to see what other responses other members are getting.

The rep didn't even offer me a Touch Pro.

She told me HTC Snap, Treo Pro, BB Curve or Tour. I said no thank you, those phones are nothing like my touch pro and I would like to request a Touch Pro 2 and she hung up on me.

If she actually hung up on you, just call back and say that the last rep had offered you a tp2 but you lost connection in the process...they should hook it up...don't give up mang...

Re: Asurion replacing TP with TP2

Today I went to the sprint store because my phone would not accept any charge from any car chargers and it would occasionally overheat. The technician then came out said he could order me a refurbish TP. I complained and I asked them about the wel list. They then informed me that is an option but the phones that are on the well list are the Palm Pro, blackberry, and the HTC snap. I told them I wouldn’t do that because that’s a downgrade from my touch pro. I went on to say what about the TP2 I herd that was on the Wel list. They referred me to the store manager who then came out and told me that TP2 is not on the well list. I pleaded with him and told him that this will be my 11th exchange of phone and I am getting frustrated. We then settle for him to order me a refurbish TP. He went to the back and got my phone and then he told me your phone should be here on Friday. He then blinked at me and said you might be surprised. I wonder when I go back to the store what will I have a TP or a TP2. Now with this thread i see i can get TP2 from asurion. Do you guys think i should wait it out to see if my phone gets here on Friday? Or should i go ahead and get my NIB TP2 from asurion. I am nervous that i will wait and then when i get to the store they will have the same old TP1 waiting for me. And i am also nervous that if i wait until friday that asurion wont be giving anymore TP2 as replacements.

Yup I went silent after she said "we've been out of stock all morning". Then I said thank you and she hung up on me.

They'll tell you to go to a store unless there's physical damage that's not covered under warranty.

Oh, so I guess this sweet deal doesn't pertain to me unless I want to gain bad karma and chuck my phone in a glass of water, huh? Damn.

Well, if you have TEP, do whatever it takes to make yourself happy. After all, I'm not here to be the morality police... that's what certain other members do
