Yeah bro, I will keep trying but this is taking for ever specially since I have a water damaged phone that is working at times lol. I dont know what to tell them now. I ran out of ideas lol. I will call around 8:30 pm Pacific time and also tomorrow at 7:00 am b4 I go to school.:-P

I think i was lucky then, because i called yesterday morning at 8 30 am and a guy answered and i told him i was having trouble with my tp and i needed to replace it, so he told me the 3 bad phone options available, and i said no, i want the tp2, and he told me to hold, for just after 2 minutes he said ok, tomorrow(today) will get my tp2, and now im playing with it ... now is that i see the benefit of paying $7 each month :laughing6:

Wow that sucks about the water damaged phone. The chrome bezel on my TP is broken on the bottom and now the whole phone feels like its basically falling apart in my hands

Here's my situation, my keyboard on my TP went out so I went to the sprint asc and asked for a replacement. They only offered the Snap, TP1 (again), Blackberry Curve and Tour. I asked about the TP2 and they said that it wasn't an option. They didn't say anything it being OOS. It just was not an option. I said, ok, I'll take a Blackberry Tour since it was the best out of the pack. Now I just found out that a Tour is not compatible with my SERO plan. They already ordered the Tour. What the hell am I supposed to do now? I refuse to accept another Touch Pro, and I will not take a lesser Snap or whatever garbage they have to offer. When they try to activate the Tour on my plan, I'm pretty sure it won't work.

I guess it's the luck of the draw. I didn't ask them for a Touch Pro 2 but I made it clear that I've had numerous problems with the original Touch Pro and debunked their attempts to which me to a lower status device. I wasn't ever given the option to wait on a backordered Touch Pro. Actually the rep I spoke when mentioned they weren't even stocking it anymore. He could have misspoke as in they're only out of stock.

im in the middle of a claim on my alltel mogul and they keep telling me i will receive another mogul. do they really still have moguls??? it would b fine if the gave me a tp1 but i would love a tp2.

Yeah I guess so. Do you guys recommend me to ask for the supervisor once I see I aint going no where with the Rep? I havent talked to any Supervisor yet.

Just got of the phone with Asurion. Touch Pro 2 coming saturday!!! Word of advice. Tell 'em "The rep you previously talked to was very rude and hung up on you." Work like a charm!!! Peace!!!

Wow looks like I finally got lucky! I decided to call just now and take my chances and see what would happen. The lady I spoke to said my options were a Curve, Tour, Snap or Treo Pro. I told her that my friend had recently did a claim and was able to get a TP2. She checked the inventory and told me I could get one if I wanted. So of course I said I did! I couldn't get next day shipping though and had to settle for Monday... :( Its going to be a very long weekend!

How did you guys get Sat shipping? Damn...

Just called to have a rep not only tell me that she cannot back order me a TP2 as they are 'out' even though you guys have called in the past 10 mins and recieved replacements. I asked to speak with a supervisor after attempting to explain that the phones she listed (Snap etc..) were simply downgrades and not something I was interested in.

So she apparently opened a ticket and left my cell phone number in there so the supervisor could call me back by 11 or tomorrow. How is it you guys are receiving TP2s and for me they're 'on back order'?

That sucks man, best thing to do is just call back, suck up to the person that answers (well not suck up just be really nice) and hopefully they can help you out. They have to be seeing different inventory's or something or people to get such varied responses. I just happened to get lucky this time after dealing with other crap. Was like my 6th or so call. If they cant help just hang up or try to get off the line and try again...

I really doubt they keep track of how many calls you do like Sprint actually does...

The same thing happened to me, i was thinking the same thing 1 after it was done. That $7 a month doesnt sound 2 bad now that i saved like $500

sometimes the retail stores honestly can't do it. I was looking at the chart and saw that he literally could not select TP2. Had he worked around that I'm pretty sure it would have hit his inventory(pocket). And to think of it i'll have to raise my 20 dollar sero to 35/month since i picked the Tour. No more Chipotle for meeeee.](*,)

looks like the 5th time was the charm, just did what viperV333 said and told them a friend of mine just filed a claim and he got the tp2. worked like a charm. she said i could get it by Saturday if i paid $20 extra or i can wait until Monday to get it. I am gonna wait until Monday. Thanks Viper for the tip

Just got off the phone with the second rep tonight, they ARE in stock and mine is on its way ships for sat.

I remember someone saying they didn't know how we all got sat shipping. Its apparently a shipping option they are supposed to be offering us. I was offered it for an extra $20 obviously I took it.

Can't wait for my phone and Sunday is my 18th B-day this weekend is gonna ROCK!

When I send in my old touch pro can I keep the Batt and stylus? Wanna sell all my extra accessories...

its true as long as ur phone was purchased FROM vzw and is covered under warranty/insurance they will swap it out.

if u check the vzw website they dont even have the TP listed anymore.
but if ur someone like me who bought the phone from someone else..UR SCREWED.

Just dont open the phone and call them back once you recieve it and tell them its not compatible with your Sero Plan. If not, try to contact them b4 they actually ship it to you.

What wrong with your device? If you been having alot of problems my suggestion would be to email ecare and tell them your problems.

I did mine for Verizon, but I came over from Alltel. When Asurion tried to get me into another TP, I asked which one and they told me the model. I looked it up and it only had 256Mb of RAM. I informed Asurian that my device from Alltel came stock with 288Mb of ram and nothing they were offering me was comparable. After being transferred to a tier 2 and then tier 3 manager, I was given the TP2 as my replacement.

@erick. i lost my 6800. it was my 2nd 6800 from them and both of them froze alot... email ecare? how do i do that? is it under 'contact us' on phoneclaim.com?

i came from alltel too. i will try and email them and speak to a mngr. the 6800 they want to send me has been discontinued a long time now... would like a tp2, but a tp1 would work fine for me.

Don't waist your time emailing them. Call them, and whatever you do, don't take no or any other sub-par phone for replacement. If the CSR for Asurion tells you "Well sir all I can do is offer a comparable TP1" tell them you want to escalate the call to their manager, and if that one gives you a hard time, escalate it above that manager. Like I said it took me getting to a tier 3 manager to get my phone replaced.

i have no idea what to tell them when they say 'sir u can only get a 6800 which is the same fone u lost'. only thing i can think of is sayin ' i dont want another 1 of the old a$$ fones'. lol
