i wish assurion will do this for Verizon users, i have been trying to get my TP2 for months now with no luck...everytime i try they want to send me a TP instead...... i guess i need to switch to Sprint to get all the goodies..

i should start a protest demanding TP2 replacements for all verizon TP users... :protest:

Same here, I've been playing with it all day, phone feels great!! but like any other WinMo phone seems to be much slower than my friend HTC Hero or Motoroal droid, therefore I placed my HTC evo order. Lets see how that works!

asurion's site says "If your phone is malfunctioning, please visit your nearest
Sprint Service and Repair Center."
are they only doing physical damage claims now?

The left hand side of my Verizon Touch Pro has lost responsiveness when touched/tapped. I tried to go through Asurion online and it said that the defect is covered by Verizon's extended warranty. Does anyone know what the replacement options verizon will give me if a file a claim? I am tempted to just buy the Incredible or wait for a new phone if they are going to simply give me another refurbed touch pro. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

It's not working here in Indiana. I made a claim on my touch pro with a keyboard that had a stuck space bar. I was sent a refurbished Touch Pro and mailed my damaged Touch pro back. Oh well, the Touch Pro 2 does not have a flash and I use the flash a lot as a flash light anyway.
