i did not send in my tp1....i am taking my chances of them charging me, if they do, then they will get it back, if they don't then it's mine and chances are the esn will be clean too as they already would have blown the non return charge.

do not worry about the $100 at this time, when it hits your bill you address it then. there is nothing you can do about that for now..i already tried and got only $20 credit...but once it hits my bill, I will have the full $100 removed.

I have a question. My Touch PRO has been replaced many times, now, the one i have, the screen keeps flickering, the colors get distorted. If i tried to call to get a replacement, you think they would, or does it have to be a "software" issue?

Part 1 complete, now I need to call back in a couple of hours to ask about the 3 phones they offered me instead of the TP. I was offered the Diamond, Snap and Treo Pro.

Got shot down today on the 2nd call. They contacted the rep that offered me the 3 diff phones this morning. so be careful guys. :(

You have to wait a little longer...from a few hours to the next day..the longer you can wait the better. try again tonight, and if no luck, tomorrow. That is the problem if you call back too soon, you may have even gotten the same resolution specialist..If you wait until tonight, your chances of success increase a lot as your rep will have left for the day..always best to do the first call at 8am and the 2nd at 8pm. I should have mentioned that in my first post not to call back too soon on the 2nd call. The one I did today was a 2nd call from the first call i made yesterday late afternoon...you NEVER want the same resolution specialist anywhere near your 2nd call, so try and space them out.

I had called last week, and they offered me the Treo Pro, Tour, & Snap. Called back today and followed your script exactly.

The rep listened, read the notes on the account, said they never offered me a TP2, and wouldn't budge. Used your follow up lines, and she totally shot it down.

called on Wednesday told them it was my forth replacement , asked them what my options were and they told me I can have TP2 (freezing/heating up like a hand warmer). Got it on Thursday.

it will get charged to the bill. asurion will not ship a phone out without payment. they are not sprint so there is no negotiating fees like you can do with sprint. unless you try to swindle them some how, you have to pay asurion.

they didn't charge me anything to replace my TP with TP2, but then again, asurion kept on sending me faulty TPs (4)

yea, if they sent you a few, i would not expect them to keep on charging you. if this however is your first replacement, you will get charged.

Nop, there was another replacement done and this was the 1st replacement, they gave a TP2 for a TP (said TP's were out of stock) didn't cost anything for both, but then again i did a replacement in april and paid 50 (had a mogul, worst phone ever) After all this experience I just wanted a WM phone which works well

I think its pretty final, theyre replacing my tp1 with another tp1!
so idk....the website says my order is being processed and i have not received a shipping slip but you never know. it will arrive tomorrow! i will keep everyone updated.
I am not giving up without getting a tp2.

anyone form here that got a tp2 is having issues with the gps delaying?
for example you passed an exit on the highway but on the phone still is showing ahead of you like for 5 seconds?
I got my phone through asurion so im just wondering. because some people that have a tp2 dont have issues with it.

I am having no luck with Asurion at all. Maybe I can manufacture a problem with my TP and take it in to the store....

man..these guys keep sending me to all kinds of departments...whats going on?!? they promise to ship me the phone last week and all i got was a replacement touch pro ORIGINAL! how do i resolve this issue??

well supposedly i will be recieving my brand new touch pro 2 tomorrow.guess we'll see.i followed downtick's advice and it seems to have worked perfectly.they also said that it would not affect my $150 upgrade available dec. 1st.i guess if all of this works it was a great day.esspecially since i have honestly had 6-7 touch pro's in one year.the last 2 nib and neither keyboard lasted 2 weeks

I actually had a damaged phone but had put off calling in the insurance due to being so busy lately. I called and asked and they have sent a refurb TP1 to me (vzw branded). Should be coming in today, hoping ... but not expecting ... a good surprise when I get home.

how can having 6-7 phones all with the same problem constitute "insurance fraud"?the last 2 new in box lasted less than 2 weeks total?not real sure how this works.i loved the touch pro,but didnt care for exchanging every 2-3 weeks.2 months tops.

Update: Just called sprint a minute ago nov 5th and they said sprint has mandated no more tp2s under any circumstances unless you own a tp2 already.

The Resolutions reps at Assurion have assured me that under no circumstances can they give out a different phone than the original as long as thats what they have available. These people are not stupid they can and do read forums. I am sure they know all about this.
