Asurion replacing TP with TP2 - Page 88

i think some of you guys are doing it wrong when you insist on not getting another tp replacement. when i spoke to cs yesterday, i sang praises for the tp while saying that "if it didn't overheat, it would be the best phone every made". be nice, don't lose your cool, you will be worked with.

you know that i know your situation, but some people are trying to get a free upgrade and cs knows this. it is true that sprint replaces tps for tp2s, but you must act like you don't want anything but your tp! a history of problems helps though, i had 9 tps since 10/31/08.

thats not 2 say that u can't create a history, look at it this way...the tp is a faulty device so faulty that i went out n bought a torque screwdriver to repair my keyboard myself...now say u did the same but instead of fixin it u ummmm.......u kno after 2 or 3 devices have keyboard issues u have a history jus be sure 2 call sprint n complain so that your account is noted

I only had my TP since june so it hasent been that long like 4 months.

lol but even if u fix the device yourself like the keyboard theyll still take responsability on it?

cs also doesnt care my awful history wit the tp was well documented on my account and they absolutely refused 2 do anything 4 me, went so far as stating that retentions does not have the ability to replace devices anymore...i found that to be amazing. if i hadnt jus added a line 4 my fiance id of cancelled my contract n told em to shove their service but i cant afford two etf's in this economy

but if you're calling everyday or a couple times a day, they note that also. (not you, just saying) but this happens alot, i do know the tech i talked to said the two most problematic phones sprint has was the tp and instinct. i guess that's why the instinct is on it's 3rd generation since july/2008!

that works in your favor, i say jus create an issue yourself, keyboard issue is the safest n most common. if they insist on givin u a tp u have 2 be persistent
