Asurion replacing TP with TP2 - Page 67

ok!just got off the phone with asurion.this is the second time i called them today.first time time i called them was this morn'n round 10:00am.spoke with 2 reps 3 sup's.they were'nt budg'n.they offed me the snap or the palm pro and said that is all they can offer me @ the time.so i nicely told them,that i would think bout which one i wanted and that i'll called them back.so called them back,spoke with 1 rep and she offed me the same deal,so i nicely asked if i could speak with a sup.when sup got on the line she apologized for all the inconvience and said that she did have some other phones on her list she can offer me.the bb tour,8830 and finally she said the touch pro 2.i said what is the touch pro 2?(play'n dump and act like i did'nt know what she was talk'n bout).she explained it was the same phone as the touch pro,but the newer version and a better phone.so i said,ok!lets go ahead and give that 1 a shot!phone will be here tomrw via fed ex.thanks fellas fo all yo help!

I JUST activated my phone.

The speaker is LOUD and screen is HUGE. What a difference from my TP

OK, sprint is crediting me for my deductable.

However, Asurion wants to keep me in TP. Asked for supervisor. She said as a courtesy, they would offer me Treo Pro, Curve, Snap, but NO TP2.

Went through each model, not really comparable, etc. etc.

Don't want to stay in TP because of all the problems I've had, etc. etc.

She wouldn't budge. Said no way I was getting a TP2 from them.

Going to call back and try again, but anyone have any other suggestions? I'm normally pretty persuasive, but I really hit a stone wall with the sup I spoke to.

how did you get sprint to credit you for deductible? look at my earlier post on how to handle the supervisor. it will work.

No. She put me on hold, then came back about 2 mins later and said they would credit me on my bill.
