Re: Asurion replacing TP with TP2
I just called Asurion explaining that i been having problems with the phone over heating, reseting, freezing, its slow, and I have a cracked screen. I told them i brought it to sprint and they told me to call asurion. The rep didn't want to offer me a replacement tp2 and said that i have 60 days to continue this claim. Any tips?

Re: Asurion replacing TP with TP2
I just filed a claim online and it worked. New TP2 on the way. The great thing is that they show you what phone you would be getting before you file the claim.

Re: Asurion replacing TP with TP2
Interesting thing happened ... as I mentioned up the thread a bit, I carelessly dropped my TP into a pothole of water. One in a million shot - Frankly couldn't believe it. Did all the right things (immediately pull battery, put in bag of rice) but after 24 hours, it still didn't boot ... it would try and then the screen would flash and it would go into a fit of vibration. The phone is toast, or so I thought.
I submitted my claim online and have my TP2 in hand and as I went to send the TP back in as part of the warranty claim, I slipped the battery in and lo and behold, it booted right into Windows Mobile ... so there is the cmonex bootloader and non-sprint rom. I re-locked the phone and loaded sprint stock on the phone and then started to wonder ... Now that the phone aparently works, will that have any impact on my claim with asurion? Best regards, -boggsie

Re: Asurion replacing TP with TP2
Been waiting to file this claim for my cracked screen for some time now, TP2 is on it's way. Goodbye overheating, random crashes, and loose slide.
