Now when you say "main ISP" are you talking about that you want to use your wireless provider connection as your main. If so why don't you just use a Wifi Router, like one that is found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=538874 With this new version, it lets you access the on?off operation of the wifi router via Communiction Manager. When in use you can connect any wireless pc and or devices like a laptop to use your wireless ISP. |

Re: tethering touch pro to router
too bad it works on adhoc, not supported by PS3 - if PS3 would be able to work off it I'm sure my data usage from sprint would be alot more than the 100+ gigabytes downloaded last month

Re: tethering touch pro to router
If you can find a male MiniUSB to female USB adaptor, this might be for you:
![]() If WM recognizes it, you would hook up the RJ45 cable from your phone to the WAN port on your router, and you would now be running your LAN over your phone's data connection.

Re: tethering touch pro to router
Theoretically, yes. If WM recognizes the NIC. (needs to have drivers available for it). If it is recognized as a NIC, you should have no problems using your PPC as an access point to the Internet with your LAN.

Re: tethering touch pro to router
If your router supports it, you may be able to use the dd-wrt http://www.dd-wrt.com firmware and configure it as a repeater for your phone. I have done this with other wireless access points, but never tried with ad-hoc.
If it works you can save both types of configurations to a file and load as needed. I may try this idea too. |
