Re: Sprint replacing for TP2
I have 5 TP's. They have all been replaced 4 times each for 4 of them and the 5th one was replaced 6 times. I called and talked to customer retentions. I was told they will replace them all again if needed, but will not offer me any kind of deal on an upgrade to the TP2. I have been with Sprint for 7 years and was with Nextel prior to that. I asked for a supervisor and was told in no uncertain terms that there would be no deal offered to upgrade phones. Now I am trying to figure out which carrier to switch to.

I am too! I'm waiting for the repair center tech to call me so I can go pick it up. On top of that, when I took my TP in the tech implied that I had messed up the phone b/c I had to have my other TP replaced last month for the same issues! I told him that it wasn't my fault that the TP has so many defects! I will be upgrading November 1st for sure! Good-bye TP and hello TP2!

Re: Sprint replacing for TP2
A good friend of mine is on her 5th Sprint TP and screen screwed up, so she brought it to repair center and they said that they would try to fix it, but reminded her that after her third return, that she had the option now to get any phone she wants as a replacement. And if the replacement cost more, then she would only have to pay the difference. So, she called sprint and they told her the same thing over the phone and so she said she wanted the TP2 so they said it was only 20 dollars more, and they put her on hold, and when they came back they told her that they could not do it "yet", because they were currently under some contract or policy to NOT give the phone out as a replacement. She called back later and talked to someone else and they told her the same thing.
...and you know what's funny is, the repair center couldn't fix her TP. So when she called sprint a couple times tryin to get the TP2 as a replacement, she finally gave up and said "ok...just send me another TP then." They said "sorry, we are out of stock and have no replacements TP's to send you." lol. So, they were even out of stock on the TP's and still wouldn't send her a TP2. |

Re: Sprint replacing for TP2
i'm not sure if this is a thread-jack, if so, feel free to flame away. if you had a mogul that went south, got a tp that keeps going south, why would you think the tp2 is any better? imo, htc sucks at phone making. sorry fans.

to add to that, i just read a post in the tp2 section that this sprint guy is on his 4th touch pro 2 ALREADY. LOL. i think it's hilarious. I've been lucky, i guess. Over the years, the only htc phone that i had trouble with, was the 6800/titan. Keyboard wouldn't last very long. Every few months i'd have to get it replaced. |
This post has been thanked 2 times. |
