Verizon has always been notorious for outrageous prices on their PDA's until they see lower demands or they need to clear out inventory for the next best thing. I really hope that they pose a lower price and show the other companies some competition.

oi vey sprint lost their lovely little minds! why would they do that when the vzw touch pro is like 30 dollars final price?
To me it seems like sprint feels the touch pro is still relevant to people...I guess this is one good point for vzw touch pro
it is cheaper now than sprint's touch pro and I am hoping that translates into a cheaper touch pro 2

One thing about the VZ TP is that they cut the device in half on the memory so they should cut the price in half. $99 is a very good price for that phone on the VZ network. It was a Piece of poop to begin with.

all the more reason for me to argue that the verizon touch pro 2 just may be the cheaper device at 350 for 2 year contract
that is the expected price for me

$30 for a new line or new 2 year contract. its still $99 with a mail in rebate.

Oh Yes!!! and the new crack berry Storm 2 just got slapped with a $99 price tag... That will certainly be beneficial to them. Many people are getting tired of the WM OS and are either going with Crap Berry's or Palm.

If only VZ would get the IPhone, That would almost spell doom for sprint and other companies.

They might be, but those devices sure do not do what the TP does.
