Uhhh You should rethink your statement...

WinMo was written for ONE device...a PHONE!

IPhone and Android are both written in Linux which runs on phones computers your toaster eventually! LOL

The iPhone has done the success it has because it is built on a REAL Operating system not some pseudo dumbed down version of windows!

Developers can emulate an iphone on just about any linux system without issue. That means quick porting and an already vast amount of open source software that can run on the phone.

It should be easy to connect a hard drive to an iphone at some point too!

The world of mobile phones is shifting to mobile computing.
And WinMo is not up to the task. Maybe Win7 fixes that, maybe not.

Bottom line here is both android and iPhone are way ahead of winmo on the high tech front.

And Titanium sure isn't going to change that!

winmo was NOT written for a phone. WTH did you get that from? ever heard of the Dell Axim? maybe the HP iPaq? do i need to go on? they were around LONG before any smart phones were. again, winmo was designed for pocket PC's NOT phones. winmo and a phone was combined to make one device so both had to be modded to work together.

Re: Titanium or Manila...?

Winmo 200x was written for mobile devices. Winmo 5 and 6 were specifically written for phones.

They are based and backward compatible with Win200X but they were made specifically for phones. Other devices can run them but half the features of the OS will be useless. I had a Casio 115 when it first came out. and sad to say, not much has really changed in all that time!

Other than the hardware!

Re: Titanium or Manila...?

Titanium for me, it seems more easy to use and I like the option of scrolling either the inset or the outset screens
