I've had several WinMo phones over the years, and have loved them all more than the last.

I do agree that there are some "uneducated" reps out there, as there are with any electronics retailers. Just keep in mind, not all people that work for a cell phone company have to love WM devices. In fact, in my store, I'm the only WM user. One rep uses a Pre. The others are on BB. Simply a matter of choice. I'm smart enough to tell my customers which phone is right for them, whether it be WM, BB, regular phone...whatever. Sorry to hear all the horror stories, but there are good reps out there.

BTW...I've been employed here for 4 years, been the top salesman for a majority of that, as well as several...SEVERAL customer service awards.

The problem is that they hire random people with no phoen skillz. Not saying that everyone needs to geek out to have a job at Sprint, but SOME knowledge of mobile technology would be good. I can't tell you how many reps have no idea what simple things like MMS are. I had a German tourist come in once when I worked at Radio Shack. I sold him a GoPhone & before he left, he asked if the MMS settings were already programmed into the phone & my boss looked at him like a dog that just heard a funny noise. I was the only one there who had any clue what he was talking about.

Maybe I'm just bitter. It infuriates me to go into a Sprint store & have to explain stuff TO the reps, yet I can't get hired by Sprint. .

Yeah, ATT wouldn't hire me some time ago, cuz, you know, apparently I know nothing about phones.

First off, about the whole kabuki romance thing...it is indeed cool to have females that are into this. I don't have a single soul in my life that owns -any- smartphone... that's why I spend literally at -least- like 4 hours a day on here, tweaking this, customizing that, effing up, hard resetting, starting all over again haha...

With that said, do Sprint stores require resume's? Or does it depend on the store? I'm talking about a third party store within walking distance to my new apartment. If I could work there.... <3

i know sprint requires you to submit a resume & apply online, which i HATE, but a 3rd party store might not. couldnt hurt to type one up though, it makes you look more professional.

i dont really have any geeks in my life either. its depressing
