Well...I talked to the account services dude and he was very mad that they said I "have" to go to a store and that they would not send me anymore phones.

He is sending me a 5th one today. I told him that I am taking pics of the phones now and he said its very good to have in case they want me to prove something and things like that. And to keep the tracking #'s on the returns I send. He said if th 5th is bad, to talk to account services again and they will do something for an emergency like this.

So lets hope 5th is ok!

98% of complaints i see is from sprint and the touch pro
Last year, in the days of the mogul, I believe I went through probably at least 4 brand new moguls, and one refurbished, including a time when I smashed my phone between a door and the car because I was sick and didn't notice because it fell out of some comfy gym shorts. They(insurance) sent me a refurbished one with a dark spot, i complained, they sent me a brand new one and they said there would be a $50 charge on my monthly statement, well it never showed.

I'd say there are more Sprint Touch Pros than any other kind of Touch Pro. Plus, not to mention our version has the most ram/storage

It's not all sprint phones that have issues cosmetically. My dad's AT&T diamond has the raised home key issue, and the black paint around the phone is wearing off. This started happeneing 1 month after he got it. It looks horrid. AT&T doesn't support ins. on these HTC devices and would not replace it. But because of that issue, he will be switching to sprint after his contract is over.

There just seems to be more complaints about sprint only because there are more sprint users on here. I could be wrong but that's the jist I get from it....

Don't Sprint usually let you get a new phone after the 3rd bad refurb? Verizon let me after I had 3 ENV's die, same for my mom with some older Motorola phone a while back.

I'm on Sprint now but have not yet needed to exchange thankfully.

in all my experiences with them over the years, that has exactly been the case. after the third problem phone, i would call asurion, explain the situation, ask for a supervisor, and after a bit of talking, i would be sent a brand new phone. it happened with an Apache (which i had forgotten about), then a Vogue, then a Mogul and then a Touch Pro. Also. To kabuk1, i'm sorry for blasting you. it wasn't a kind thing to do and was without merit. the situation with Asurion and the insurance has been a problem with me for years and when i saw your posting, i went balistic instead of really asking you why you had those thoughts. i tyically type faster than i can think and it gets me in trouble.

And for the other dude that called me a hypocrite. I wasn't clear on the problems i was having with each phone. i kept getting phones that had blemishes on the screens and from my experience, that can never be good when you start off with that. so i would call up Asurion, tell them the situation with the screens, and then they would send another.

ok. now that i have done the two things i wanted to do (apologize to kabuk1 and give more info about my returns) i hope that i'm able to contribute to this thread and be helpful.

I went through 4 bad ones in an week. One had a giant blue dot on the screen couldn't see nutin, 1 keyboard died, one the internet and texting were so screwed up, and one had a huge crack on it. The current one besides feeling like the screen is about to come off works but sprint is giving me a free phone of my choice so waiting on tp2 and hoping its quality is better...
