I too went through the same thing the OP did about a month ago. They sent me 3 refurbs that all had something wrong with them, and cosmetically looked like crap. Finally the 4th one was in "like new" condition, and am very pleased with it.

I've had the same experience. Three refurbs in two weeks. All had to be returned.
1. Keyboard flapped around. Not just loose, REAL loose. More important, profile could not be recognized or updated. 2. Keyboard had a 1/4" gap and wobbled when open or closed. Also serious overheating problem I did not have on other phones (original and first refurb). Phone was literally too hot to hold after 10 minutes of surfing or conversation. Even with keyboard open for ventilation. 3. Similar loose and flapping keyboard issue plus BT does not work. Headset that easily connected to all other phones and still pairs to my 6700 can't be paired. Called the store and I am picking up my FOURTH on Monday. Seems to me that the early TP builds from late fall had lots of issues. The one I got in January was perfect for 6 months and then the internet connection broke and couldn't be fixed by our forum fix, 3 tech reps at Sprint, or the Sprint Store tech guys. We're seeing those early TPs back again now. Refurb, but not fully functional. It's the attack of the zombie phones. Wish me luck tomorrow.

I got a refurb last week, and the colors seemed to be a little dull compared to my original phone (which had a dead backlight). The colors are now completely washed out to the point that what should be black is light grey, and white on blue isn't readable. I'll be calling Verizon tomorrow a.m.
