Re: help please htc touch pro
Actually I almost think you can hold the rep that flashed it over to MetroPCS responsible for it, and the individual store could be held liable by corporate, due to it is against Corporate MetroPCS's policy to flash PDAs over to their network right now.

Re: help please htc touch pro
not an option, he did me a favor by flashing it and im not that kind of person. plus hes a friend of the family, but even if he wasnt i think htc should send me a new phone, fix this one or give me a check because its their device with the problem.

Re: help please htc touch pro
I dont think this is true.. HTC devices are on Metro's list of flashable phones as well as Houdini's list of phones...Well atleast here in DFW,Texas they even advertise to flash HTC devices.

Re: help please htc touch pro
lol other than knocking out the fact the guy said metropcs rep could be help responsible nothing at all... as you do, I to use metro pcs and dont have insurance on the phone since Asurion wont cover it...why pay $4 a month to get replaced with a junk metro phone if/when it breaks lol... thats why Im wondering what happens with you here..I think manufacture coverage only last a year so I'd suggest calling HTC and see if your phone is covered under the manufacture waranty. I doubt asurion will do any thing for you... you may even look into a phone repair shop and see if you can get it fixed for cheap.. if all those fail ppl like me and you are out of luck. |

Re: help please htc touch pro
IT LIVES...i picked it up and did the spacebar trick and then tried turning it on and it worked. my theory it that the ribbon cable wasnt fully on and it was getting weird button signals from the keyboard so it world keep reseting...holding the reset button would bypass the rest. unfortunately i didnt try it before the spacebar trick so it might just be luck, but it adds up that the flex cable is causing all these problems with them. if the phone is receiving stuck key signals its is probably what is causing the slow down def they key board failure and inevitably the shut down. I just realized something though...my phone is off the track on the right side which causes it to slide up too far, when it does that it must torque the flex cable. it also caused the top keys to wear a little with small scratches and many scrapes on the back side. as far is im aware it would be physically impossible for me to pull my htc off its track on only one side because it isnt broken in anyway, it just wasnt put on right in manufacturing. this is why they refuse to say their product is flawed...g2g ill edit this later but you get the picture im sure
