Not to be an arss , but SBR you know this shouldnt have been in this forum, maybe at least in the touch pro forum. Good luck though.

it actually had to do with the bootloader the part that said wrong platform now says herman toady I relocked my spl and left my phone off all day and the soft reset button work again and the screen now turns off again.

sorry this was coming it had to do with the bootloader which belongs in the upgrade section so issues with the bootloader should also be in the upgrade section I didnt know it was the bootloader till today when the wrong platform had changed back to normal. anything to do with the firmware of the phone belongs in the upgrade section.

if this is your issue than they should at least send you a new one. be sure to flash back to stock ROM then relock the phone if you are running any custom ROMs.

Do recommend putting the stock PRI back on and stock radio too?

Id put as close back to stock as possible I didnt even have my contacts in my phone when I went into the store

when i go in i flash to the stock rom and depending on whati go in there for will dpened if i lock it back up too, i never have the contacts or anything like that on it when i go in either, i just tell them that ive hard reset and the problem wasnt fixed and they dont give it a second thought.

its all cool sorry for the retaliation I was in a pretty pissed off mood second replacement ive got for this phone but I got it today new in box which made me very happy because I got new headphones and other stuff. I crushed the old headphones while working out. I also hard reset so none of my contacts it also helps your cause because that is one less thing they check. it also shows you have a lil knowledge about your phone.
