I wasn't sure if it was my phone or what.

I switched back to the original app which just allows one constant speed, set it to 256 and things are running smooth. I guess its a sacrifice. Good battery life with weird screen/phone issues or no issues and not so good battery life.

Hopefully my radio upgrade will improve things to a tolerable level while this app matures and the kinks are worked out.

same problem here, LCD changing colors, image mirrored / reversed, screen outage, coming back from standby @ 19 mhz takes forever and sometimes requires a softreset.

I reverted to 1.0 and I am loving it. It really is an awesome program. None of the issues that 1.2 has.

I had the same thing happen to me last night. Locked up had to reset. I rolled back to 1.0 and will see what happens tonight.

Confirmed no lock up. Everything is working great with V1.0. Excellent battery savings. This is a must have. Excellent work!!!

I just removed version 1.2 from my system.

This program actually reduced my battery life & caused occasional lockups.

i'm still on 1.2, but I have the idle setting unchecked (that's what caused me issues)

btw, 256/off/256/256

If you are going to keep all of the settings at 256, I think no2chem has a generic program that just adjusts the CPU to one value and keeps it there no matter what.

yea, but that would involve uninstalling, ect... but no, I set the default clock to 256, so it should stay there when idle.

I can't answer phone calls and it takes a while for S2U2 to load. However, this could just be because 1.2 is actually doing the job more effectively and is taking some time to speed up from 19.2 to 528. Anyways, I set it to 256 for standby and everything is fine now

After using no2chem's program, I switched from S2U2 bc that program is really CPU intensive and drains the battery. I noticed this when I was playing around with the phone at 128 mhz, S2U2 would go so slow. I'm using pocketshield and the program is much lighter on the cpu and battery.

Good idea. I'll try that. I really only need to slow down when I suspend the phone.
