No it doesn't have to be activated

If you already have your replacement check both the phone device information make sure they are somewhat alike

You have to "enable advanced network functionality"

Go To Setting - Connections - USBtoPC

If the box is checked uncheck it if it isnt the check it

Edit - Got an easier way you have to manually enterbootloader

Load Enterbootloader.exe then flash

Not Sure but if you place the enterbootload.exe into your SD and open it, it should put you on the color screen then plug your USB and flash it

The bootloader is the screen where the colors are red green blue white

You copy the enterbootloader.exe (i can't post the exe file) anywhere in the SD that you can remember

Open File Exploer find the enterbootloader.exe file

Click it

Once you do you should see the screen with those colors

Plug your USB in then flash your radio

I have to go now but if you need help someone else will prob help or PM a Mod

For sprint not to know you need to download the shipped rom

http://rapidshare.com/files/16742399...p.exe.zip.html

Then the Shipped Radio

Sprint Raphael Radio V1.03.15F Shipped

After that use the relocker
Just wanted to let you guys know that a stock Shipped Rom Flashes the OS and the Radio Rom, so you don't need to do the radio after doing the shipped rom cause it will already be done. The stock dumped rom will only flash the OS rom. It does not include the Radio Rom.
