Like right now it says connecting loads for a little bit then says WAIT for some reason now it works no problem when I set them both up from scratch this is very weird. Would active syncing have anything to do with this?

Everytime I setup email, I do it while it is disconnected from the computer. Also if you are syncing outlook email, make sure it is not the same email that you set up on the phone. For instance if you have 1 yahoo mail account and you want it on both the computer and the phone, set it up so that active sync does not sync email. Otherwise you will have 2 of the same account on the phone.

If you are able to successfully send and receive emails, you should have no problem. There fore you shouldnt really need to "view" your password. regardless of how many "*"s u see, the device will know what its doing. quoted already it just acts as a mask, so if worst case scenario you lose our phone, no other person will know the exact amount of letters in your email password. Its all security. Think of it as a good thing.
