Re: Evdo Speed Tweaks For Touch Pro
I noticed a slight increase in speed, but not much.
I really think what's making a difference for most is the "Time Stamp = off"

Re: Evdo Speed Tweaks For Touch Pro
Does anybody no of a browser that runs java applets native. I want to go up to DSLReports.com, and run their tweak test. That test will give you suggestions for the device that it reads (RWIN etc.).
I have used the test with great reliability, and tweaking on my PC's. The problem is it need a browser that will run JAVA applets. The browser needs to run native on the phone, and not use a external server to access web pages (like Opera Mobile). If there is a browser out thier that will allow JAVA applets to run resident on the phone, we could run the test, and really get an in depth analysis of what settings to tweak. |

Re: Evdo Speed Tweaks For Touch Pro
When I run "mobile" speed tests I get crazy speeds like 2-3Mbps. Teathered to my pc I'm lucky to get between 500-800Kbps. What's up with that? Why are "mobile" speeds tests showing higher speeds then what the pc is showing?

Re: Evdo Speed Tweaks For Touch Pro
You need to tweak the PC's settings(Windows) for the network you are on. the program Dr. TCP on DSL Reports enables you to do this.

Re: Evdo Speed Tweaks For Touch Pro
Tether the phone, Open your PC's browser, and go to DSL Reports .com. Run the tweak test on your PC.(Under Tools) See what settings it suggests for the PC.
