PLEASE tell me im doing something wrong before I ditch HTC all together

I honestly dont know what to do about this, I just got my second TP and the end and talk key aren't working already.

This will be close to my 10th replacement for an HTC phone, I dont use it terribly much, I don't put it in my back pocket and sit on it, most of the time it sits next to me on my desk, I dont press they keys very hard and this **** keeps breaking.

This puts me in a pickle because just getting another phone isnt so easy because ive fallen head over heals for the screen.

Keep in mind im not really asking for answers so much as *****ing about my phone

If you are actually getting close to 10 replacements, Just wait and get the PALM PRE , maybe that phone will change your luck.

I understand your pain... It took me 5 moguls to get a good one. I'm already on my 2nd Touch Pro as well. I think Advanced Exchange via the website is still sending out NIB Touch Pros... Might as well give it another shot. Third times a charm right?

I had to go through so many Moguls but I forgave them for releasing such a turd.

What is the advance exchange?

i honestly dont see what the hype about HTC is...their handset designs are somewhat far from cutting edge.. the 2 ive had, Titan and TP both overheat... both have battery life issues... both have keyboard issues... both have screen issues (titan- white spots, TP- the oily colored stuff-not on mine though).. both have lockup issues(for alot of people, not me)...

i mean they dont really think their phones all the way through.. i dont know if diamonds, HDs, G1s etc have the same issues as well but im willing to bet its just not we chose the only 2 glitched handsets, titan and TP, to buy from HTC

whats crazy is if you got 10 yes 10 replacements there is probably a user problem and not an equipment problem!

yes you're doing something wrong.

You have Jason Bateman as your avatar... to me that's pretty wrong... lol

No seriously consider contacting ecare and threaten to cancel your service because of the crappy HTC devices you've ended up with... then kindly suggest that you'd be willing to stay if they replace it with the phone of your choice to keep you as a customer... that will most likely solve your problem.

most of those replacments were from the mogul which were issues that everyone has had such as the light dot on top of the screen which wasnt something I was just going to "deal with" as suggested to me by a sprint employee.
