Arcsoft MMS 5.0.82.79 From Sprint With Threading MMS - Page 29

I am getting a "Message Delivery Failed. Or Message Receipt Failed" message when I try to send the a pic to myself. I followed all the directions for installation. I have Sprint HTC Diamond. I'm running MightyRom 4.5.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

installed this tonight. Didn't really understand the whole uninstall of the sprint picturemail though. I ran it only to have it say it couldn't be installed. However once I went back to the picturemail tab it said "no accounts". Took me a few, but I sent a test pic to myself and received it within a couple minutes. The sprint mail sucks. Thanks a ton guys! I'm curious though, what can be done to get rid of the picturemail tab now that it's basically useless?

And another thing I haven't found out yet, is how do I get the original pics I had in my picturemail to be merged in with my text msgs now so they show up? Or are these pics gone? umm... can't really msg her to ask her to send another pic like that to me again ya know!

Go to your MMS server settings and change the "Connect via" to "The Internet"

Did you follow the 3 steps in the first post? Did you try the remover a second time or only once? First post says it might fail, but to just try it again.

As far as your precious old picture mails that are no longer there, you may be able to recover them by uninstalling the arcsoft and installing the sprint picture mail back on and see if they show up. Then you could save the pics to your storage card or wherever. They may be gone for good though.

what I did was install this and smms my pics where gone but all I had to do was sync the smms program and I got most of them back thanks someguy you saved my pics ...of course you you need to donate 5$ to someguy to get this option

SMMS is basically a means to access the Sprint web interface without using the browser. As long as your pictures have not expired there, SMMS can sync them for access on your phone.

So, I've followed all the instructions, and I'm having a few problems. Basically, I can send MMS with no problem. However, when I receive one, it's very difficult to access the picture attached.

When I click the little icon, I always get the error message "tmail.exe" has failed. Sometimes I also get "shell32.exe" has failed. I just keep on trying over and over, and eventually, the picture will open. I've tried to see if there's a pattern (number of times I have to attempt, length of time that has gone by, etc.), and I don't see one.

I tried this on a clean stock rom after a hard reset, and still have the problem.

Please help!

I donated to the sMMS project so I could use all the features, but I am wondering what the benefits are of using sMMS now that this version of Arcsoft MMS works so well on our Sprint phones? Maybe this is a stupid question to those who really understand what the benefits are, and I apologize, but I am wondering if I should be using both, just sMMS or just Arcsoft MMS on my phone.

Yea...retrying over and over has oddly worked for me to. But I always just change that setting for instant results.
