---- <whine session> I think the overall thing that I am wanting to find is somewhat of a mix between the picmail from powerdeck, and this nifty threaded stuff. For SMS'es, threaded is the way to go. For MMS'es, threaded is the way to go. Should they be together? IMO, no. "Oh Bob, let me show you this funny picture Lynn sent me the other day... just gotta find it in the pile of SMS messages shes also sent me since then." It would be much easier to have a threaded picturemail folder, apart from the threaded SMS folder, select Lynn's thread, and see all date/timestamped MMS messages you have exchanged with her. Or maybe I'm out in lala land on this one. The older version of Arcsoft at least put the pictures in the separate thread from the texts in the SMS/MMS folder. Made them somewhat easier to find, however it created a new thread for every image received, even sequential ones from the same person (ala regular non threaded), which was an annoyance, but I could deal with it if I could move them to another folder. I might simply drop back to that older version. I dunno.. </whine session> |

Yeah... I don't have a strong preference either way. As long as sending and receiving works well and threading works, I don't care if it's all threaded together or separately. I don't think your off base in your preference though, it's very understandable.

Re: Arcsoft MMS 5.0.82.79 From Sprint With Threading MMS
I've also had the issue with the "No Sender" message when I send a picture. I think it might be a hiccup from the program since it was ported over. I've done the Regedits that Mr.Hawaii posted a few pages back and still get the No Sender message.
Here is the registry edits I was talking about!!!! Hey guys I posted this in the Diamond forum of this thread. If anyone uses this registry edit can you please report back if it helps/hurts anything? I want to see if my results are consistent. Thanks. It does send to emails because I just sent one to my mail account.. if you want to send to Facebook! you can send it straight from the picture itself. select the picture then on the menu you should have an option to send to Facebook. You will have to sign in first before it sends it!! |
