The instructions say to put phone in sync with PC and elsewhere it says to put it in bootloader mode.

Either way I get to the progress bar and it stays at 0% and the PC gives me a communication error. Then I go thru the recovery process and I am back to the beginning. I am using the Raphael_VZW_HSPL_035.exe, I do have NetFramework installed on the PC.

(Wait I just found the VZW_TP_SSPL-Manual.exe and used it and it worked just like a regular reset into bootloader. So that problem is solved.)

Other problem of 0% is still there though.
Why put the phone in bootloader mode if the instructions on the RUU tell you to place into a connection using Active Sync?

You have to follow the instructions here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42503 using this file in the verizon package "Raphael_VZW_HSPL_035.exe".

Basically, you plug phone into computer establishing activesync, then you run the "Raphael_VZW_HSPL_035.exe" file, and the ruu will run and after a couple clicks, it will be done.

What error exactly are you getting? Does it just say communication error?

If you can't get it to work, you can unlock via the microSD card following this http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=61333

I have a Sprint Touch Pro I am trying to unlock it but continue to fail miserably I will fire it up and allow it to connect via vista's version of activesync and it reaches the tricolored screen fine but at which point it loses connection with the RUU and on the pc it spits out a "Error: 260 Connection". When the phone reboots into the tricolored screen it tries to install a qualcomm driver on the pc but fails. I have read around and tried that manual from the phone then running the RUU but it comes to the same spot and has the connection issue...any help in figuring this out would be greatly appreciated. I apologize if this may be unclear it is 3:20 in the morning and I finally gave up and just asked hah.

Do you have WMDC installed? Are you following the "Preparations" and the "Instructions" here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42503?

Tried it twice this am. I was already using the Raph VZW HSPL 035 file. I will try the SD version.

I just tried the SD Version and it went soooo fast and it is now unlocked thanks all
