SPRINT Arcsoft MMS 5.0.70.24. Threading MMS works! (Updated 3-2-09)

The CDMA_API.dll was the problem. I ended up finding a different version with google that fixed The problem. I also added a script that adds X-Sprint-MDN to the registry with your phone number.

i install the version and appears X-Sprint-MDN, delete this key on registry and appears X-VzW-MDN

Hello,

I ran the removal cab for a second time, and it advised me that the first installation of the removal cab had to be removed. However, I never saw it in the add/remove screen.

does that mean that after this cab does it's job, it stays installed? How to we delete after we use it?

everything seems to be working fine for me except audio attachments. It shows them loaded and playing but I get no audio. Stock sprint rom on TP

Ok so here is my problem.

Running stock ROM. On a New Touch Pro purchased from Sprint 2 days ago.

Installed the -pm version. Installed fine. I can send pics fine they get them right away.

When receiving it just wakes the phone but dosent do anything. It times out and goes back to sleep, about 30seconds later it turns itsself back on and receives the picture.

2nd problem. When I goto view the pic its really small on the screen, looks like a thumbnail. Cant figure out how to make it bigger.

So far I tryed changing the MMS options to connect to The Internet instead of Sprint and it still had the same problem.

Don't know about the 1st problem u have, however, the arcsoft have a better ui than sprint app the trade off is the thumbnail video display, I've searched for a fix, with no sucess! You can try removing this version and use the 5069 that's floating around or reinstall sprint pm to see if that fixes problem. I would suggest you compare video size of sprint pm vs arcsoft as well, be sure to use the steps outlined in the removal instructions of picture mail registry entries found in first post...

Ok. Here's something strange. Could everyone please check the "About" tab and check what version it's reporting?? I'm reporting:

I don't ever remember downloading this!!

Running stock rom, had pic mail installed. Ran through necessary proceedures to uninstall it, now I'm trying to just get 5.0.70.24 installed, and the only thing it's showing me is this 5.0.68.24 version. But it's threaded!!! Anyone else?

Ok so I tried to remove the .70 version and it wont let me uninstall it. It says it can not be removed completely. I tried the removal cab for the .69 and that did not work either. How do I go back to using Sprint Pic mail once I installed the .70?

My Sprint Pic mail was working and would show the image full on the screen. I just wanted to try .70 since it makes them threaded and it did do that. Just disappointed that it dosent make the pics full screen. What good is it having a thumbnail??

Hrm, when I click on the pictures I can make them fullscreen and/or save them and open them with my Rescoe Picture Viewer. Anyway, I uninstalled it at one point to test something via SKTools which worked well.
