Very cool! So, you got the $99 model. How does the image compare to the more expensive unit?

I'm thinking gadget for fathers day...

Re: $3.65 + Registry Hack = TV Out

Do I have to turn my phone off to prevent it from turning on out of the blue while watching a movie?

Re: $3.65 + Registry Hack = TV Out

FYI our friends at Monoprice.com have the iPod cable for cheap. I paid $3.30 shipped yesterday.

I get decent quality using TCPMP. Only thing is there's a little buzz. I dont know if its my cable or the TV.

Just as a follow up: I received my iPod cable from monoprice and it works. I have the same buzz that others have but it's less of a concern when you turn the TV down and turn the volume to the maximum on the phone. I also noticed a slow down or sluggishness of my TP when in TV out. Anyone else?

Re: $3.65 + Registry Hack = TV Out

Turns out it's slow in landscape with or without the TV connected. Soft reset seems to have sped it up a bit. I'll try the TV out again later.

This saved me from buying a cable. Had to pipe up and say thanks.
