Yes, it will change the left soft key (I think by default it is phone) as seen in post 47 (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...3&postcount=47).

The idea of the application is to have quick access to a few applications; TF3d not required. The cab puts a shortcut in the programs folder so you have map that to any button you wish.

Does anyone use AgendaOne for contacts and such? I am trying to map the registry entries over to the agenda one shortcuts and they don't seem to work. I have tried every combination I can think of between the the path and param fields with no luck. My phone is seeing that I have changed the button. And I soft reset after each change. Basically there are shortcuts in the (program files\agenda one) directory called like (Agenda One-contacts) that I map to. I can't seem to find a combination of path and param that will work and I cant leave param field blank. I don't edit much but I would like to map my Agenda One programs to the action screen buttons. I am editing the HKLM\software\HTC\ActionScreen\app_8 (or 7 or 6 for tasks and calander) From what I have read these are the reg lines to edit. Any thoughts?

Edit: I was able to change the GPS button to (agenda one.exe) and it worked fine starting the main program - with a blank param field - but if I put in the (agenda one-contacts.ink) to link to the shortcut it does not work. Also on buttons 6-8 I can't blank out the param field. I am just missing something!


FIXED: I guess I posted in haste. I had to recreate the shortcut by just using the (agenda one.exe) in the path then passing the (goto week or goto contacts) parameter in the param field. I should have tried that first. But I was set on the shortcut working. Guess I learned something. I don't reg edit much.

I think the problem you are having has to do with shortcuts. You will need to find the Agenda One exe's and use those in the registry.

Also, once you have it correct please let me know and I will put the changes in cab file and post it on the first page for others to use.

Looks like I was updating my post as you were writing this. Agenda One does not have .exe to contacts or tasks. You have to pass a goto parameter after agenda one.exe - like agenda one.exe goto contacts / week / tasks / month whatever. Look at my post for a little more detail. I also use KK's Rom and love it!

LoL... would you mind sending me the exact reg entries so I can cab them up and post them?
