If it says it's unlocked and it's still not working then try relocking it then use this file to unlock

Uhh, I never said security locked, rather security unlocked, the relocker is not working for me and I can not figure out why.
I am attempting to RELOCK, not unlock. My goal is to flash back to stock sprint ROM.

In the thread linked below, the statement I quoted implies that I do not need to relock before reflashing to stock ROM, all I want to do is reflash stock ROM and I get the error 244 message with the invalid model ID warning.

right, but you potentially used the wrong unlocker, which could lead to the errors, so you want to relock it and use the proper unlocker I posted above. if that's not working, then you may have just ****ed yourself by not using the proper unlocker.

if your getting invalid model id it means your running the wrong unlocker. just download and run the correct one.

you dont relock before flashing the stock rom you relock after.

Reviving this thread as I am getting the same error. Just flashed my stock Sprint TP to KK's loaded ROM 1.5 and I am now attempting to update the radio from the Sprint stock to the Telus radio. The RUU that came with the Telus radio gives me this error and about every other RUU I use does too. Does the .nbh file for the radio have model ID info embedded in it and that is why I am getting the error? I am just trying to get the Telus radio flashed for the Sprint TP.

Not sure why no one responded to this but I thought I would go ahead and clarify a few more things to help describe what is happening when I attempt to update the radio on my TP. I have flashed from the stock Sprint rom to KevanK's 1.7 ROM. I currently have the stock Sprint radio version 1.03.15F and want to update it to the Telus V1.04.05V radio which I downloaded in this forum (from the radio thread). It is giving me the invalid model ID Error [244] using the RUU that was supplied with the radio. The first thing that should have given it away was the fact a Diamond phone is pictured when I run the RUU....is there another RUU I need to use to install this radio? Or is the device somehow identifying itself as a Diamond? That doesn't seem to be the case as it is functioning normally and Windows MDC sees it as TP as well as ActiveSync. Any help at this point would be great! Cheers!!

PS...I think I didn't get a response to this because the original thread isn't exactly what my issue is about. Perhaps a mod could break this off into it's own thread?

You must have downloaded it from the diamond section in this forum...or some other section. You only get that error when you are trying to flash to the wrong device. Are you sure you have a RAPH800 CDMA touch Pro? You have to get the radio from the radio thread in the "CDMA HTC Touch Pro Upgrade" forum.
